18 - D Grader

I some of my grades back last week and I got a D in my science exam. It's my GCSE biology. I'm too scared to tell my parents. They're going to be soooooooooooo mad :'( I can't take a re-sit without them knowing as well. What should I do? I tried really hard and revised for ages. I think I'm just born dumb now :'(

Need advice and support please.

Dear D Grader,

Don't worry about it and don't for a mintue put yourself down. If you revised and tried your best that doesn't mean you're not smart it just means that you got nervous during your first exam. I would know, I was so nervous I felt sick. I think you should tell your parents, they will find out anyway and I'm sure they will understand. It's not like you didn't try. They have no reason to be mad at you. If you feel like you want extra help you could go to extra revision classes or ask your parents for tuition. Your parents just want the best for you and I'm sure they'll be supportive if you want to take a re-sit.

Honestly though, don't stress over it.
