"Samantha wake up we're gonna be late for our first day!" It took me a few minutes to realise but it was my annoying little sister Graylin who was starting her freshman year. I was starting my senior.
"Fuck off." I said rolling over putting the pillow over my head
"Whatever were leaving in 10minutes." She said leaving my room
"Shit 10 minutes?" I said looking at my alarm clock which said 7:22. I immediately threw off the covers and ran to the bathroom. I practically jumped in the shower. When I was done I brushed my teeth and got dressed
"Ugh what do I wear!!" I said in frustration
"Aha!" I said as I pulled out my wrinkled mercyful fate shirt. To complete the look I threw on my black jeans and white nike high tops. I sighed in relief as I looked over at the clock which was 7:31. I walked over to my bed and shoved my books in my backpack.
"Sam you ready?" My dad asked as he knocked on the door
"Yeah dad." I said slipping my backpack on
"Okay meet you at the car in a minute." He said walking away
I nodded and walked down the hallway to the kitchen. I grabbed an apple and headed out the door. I waited on the porch for Graylin.
"I call shotgun!" She said running to the front seat.
"No you got it last time!" I said annoyed
She playfully stuck her tounge out at me as I put on my seatbelt
"So are you girls excited?" My dad said as he turned on the ignition
"Yeah new school new boys!" Graylin said excitedly while putting on mascara.
"There's more to high school than boys sweetie." My dad said focusing on the road.
"So what about you Sam?" He asked
"Well my schedule seems alright and I'm excited one more year till I get too go off to college." I said with a small smile
"Good I'm glad your excited and do your best for dad." He said looking back and I expect for you to help Graylin out with anything.
"Mkay." I said
No less than than 5 minutes we arrived to a huge building which was flooded with kids of all grades. Then I saw the huge sign I've seen a trillion times which said
St. Luda highschool.
Don't let the name fool you. Its not any religious school. Its nothin but wannabes and assholes that go here.
Hence the name but this school has nothing to do with religion. We get to wear whatever, say whatever, and they're no nuns walkin around.
I began to feel a bit nervous as I stepped out of the car.
"Have fun sweetie see you later and do your best." My dad said from the window I smiled and headed for the entrance
"Well um im gonna go find my friends." Graylin said walking away
"You sure you dont want me to show you around I mean its a pretty big school." I said
"Nah I'll manage see ya sis." She said
I rolled my eyes and sat down on a nearby bench. I pulled out the crumbled slip of paper with my schedule.
"Okay 1st I have calculus. Great way to start off my morning with math. Which was my least favorite subject. I trailed my eyes down the small slip if paper I guess I had an alright schedule. I was about to walk to my first period until I heard someone call my name
" Samantha!!!!" The voice said
I turned around and saw my best friend Alina.
We ran to eachother and tightly hugged
"How was your summer!?" She said
"Lowkey as always you?" I said
"Traveling and shit." She said
"Let me see your schedule!!"" I said. She rummaged through her pockets and pulled out the small slip. I traced my eyes down it and I wasn't disappointed.
"We have every class together...." I said with a huge smile
"No way!" She said
"Yes I'm not kidding see for yourself." I said giving her the slip
"AHHHH!!!" We screamed at the same time
"Wait wait we have every class together exepted for 6th you have science I have band." She said
"Aww fock I got all excited for nothing." I said
"Be glad we even have classes together man."
"True."
"Guess what." She said
"Hmm." I said
"Mrs Rozalez our old science teacher passed away last month." She said
"What no that's horrible!" I said
"Yeah bummer she was my favorite teacher. Alina said
"How'd she pass?" I said
"Heart attack since she was almost 95." She said
"Damm." I mumbled
"But we have a new science teacher." She said
"Cool what's their name?" I asked
"I heard his name is Mr. Hammett
"Cool hope he's chill." I said.
"Same." Alina said
"Well we have him last period and I heard he's pretty good looking." She said nudging my shoulder
"Eww he's our teacher." I squealed playfully
"I'm just playing with you dude! Now let's Go to class." She said grabbing my wrist.
