I felt bad, Alina was a nervous wreck. I've never have seen her this anxious before. I was so used to her kick back and chill personality, seeing her in this state made me kinda scared.
I was looking through my closet for an outfit for her when I was startled by her yelling.
"Fuck!" She shouted as she rubbed her eye from accidentally stabbing it with that pesky mascara wand
"Dude be careful!" I shouted as I moved her hand away from her eye.
She looked at me real fast before taking a really deep breath, she held it in for a few seconds, then finally exhaled.
"I'm sorry man it's just a lot of pressure. If you think about it I'm technically gonna be meeting his parents as well. I've never done anything like this before, I'm just really nervous.
"You'll be alright I'm sure they will love you. Just make a good first impression and you'll be all good." I said reassuring her.
She softly smiled
"Alright get me a dress or something and go tell your dad I'm gonna be staying."
"Look through my closet dummy and alright I'll be right back."
I walked to the door and headed downstairs to see Nicole setting up the table while my dad cooked
"Hey dad!" I shouted
He dropped the spoon and grabbed his chest and looked at me.
"Sweetie! You almost made me have a heart attack!
"I'm sorry! I giggled
"I just wanna ask if its okay for Alina to have dinner with us in all in fact she is dating David's younger brother."
"Will he be coming a long as well?" He asked
"I believe so I just got off the phone with him."
He looked over at Nicole who was pushing in chairs
"I don't see why not." She said
I smiled
"Fine just don't cause any trouble i'm sure we all want to make a good impression."
"Alright well I'll be in my room getting ready.
"You hurry now." Nicole said.
I ran upstairs to find Graylin groggily stumbling out of her room. I ran to help her.
"Dude are you alright?" I said helping her walk straight.
"I'm fine man d-don't worry." She said shooing me away
"You don't look fine what happened?"
"I'll explain later let me take a shower man." She said walking in to the restroom and slamming the door.
I wonder what that was all about. Strange.
I walked back in to my room to find Alina wearing the dress I was gonna wear.
"Bitch! I was gonna wear that!"
"Finders keepers losers weepers!" She said
I tossed a pillow at her and giggled.
"Whatever I'll find something else to wear."
"Okay I think you should hurry though because David just texted you." She said holding my phone to my face.
I grabbed it and it was a text from him.
David:
Be there in a little less than five minutes :).
"Fuck!!!" I said tossing my phone on my bed.
I ran to my closet and grabbed a black long sleeve that shows a little skin and a leopard print skirt that goes down to my mid thigh. I looked cute lowkey.
"Does this look okay?" I asked Alone
"So cute!" She said I smiled
Her and I put makeup on and sprayed what felt like pounds of perfume.
I peeked out of my room and saw Graylin going back in to her room and slamming the door.
I was beginning to grow kind of worried. This wasn't her.
I walked over to her bedroom and knocked. No answer. I knocked again a little harder.
"What!? Who is it?!" She yelled.
She sounded so just...mean. I was kinda scared.
"Dude it's me your sister." I said
"What do you want?" She said as she softened her tone.
" Uh well I was wondering if you were gonna eat with us. "
There was silence for a second.
"Uh nah." She said
"Why?"
"I just don't okay?"
"Fine." I said as I walked away.
I seriously had no clue what was wrong with her. This was so unusual. I was honestly really worried.
I went back to my room Alina was lying on the bed and I plopped down next to her.
"Whats up with your sis?" She asked.
"I have no clue at all man. This is so unlike her." I said.
She stayed quiet.
"Lets have her hang with us next time we hang out maybe that will make her spirits lift a bit."
"Good idea."
After a few minutes I.almost fell asleep til I heard the door open and heard a bunch of voices.
Alina was startled as well. We both looked at each other and took a deep breath.
"Its showtime." I mumbled
"I'm scared man!"
I reassured her and told her that she'll be fine.
"His parents are gonna love you just be yourself and you'll be okay."
"Thanks cheif." She said
I giggled as her and I walked out of my bedroom.
As we looked down I saw his parents in the kitchen talking to my parents. I saw David and Tyler sitting on the couch looking kinda nervous.
We nervously walked and went to our boyfriends first.
"Hey babe!" David said as he saw me and pulled me in to a hug.
"Hey." I said softly as I softly kissed him.
I looked over and saw Alina and Tyler just awkwardly talking.
"Give me a second." I told David as I walked to them.
"Hey guys." I gave Tyler a friendly hug and stood next to Alina.
"Alina isn't there something you want to say to Tyler." I said nudging her.
She sighed.
"Ty look, I'm really sorry about what happened and for being a total asshole about it. There was nothing going on between me and James. I'm sorry I made you feel that way." She said softly .
He looked at her for a second before speaking

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have overreacted like that. I'm really sorry. Can you forgive me?" He said
She softly smiled and nodded. He smiled to. David put his arm around me and he smiled as well
"Don't be a dick ty. Kiss her man." He said.
Alina looked at him and Tyler was looking at her deep in the eyes before grabbing her waist and softly kissing her it made my heart melt seeing them happy again. It made me think of Kirk and I. I missed him.
It was all going well until David leaned in himself and kissed me without warning.
