Kirk's POV
I walked out of the restroom with a smile never leaving my face. I can't believe that she liked me all along and she even kissed me!! God her lips were so soft and perfect. But I remembered Kathy. Fuck what am I gonna do.
I slowly walked over to our table. Kathy was sitting with her arms crossed and had a bitchy look on her face.
"Where were you!!" She said almost shouting.
"Sorry there was a lot of people." I said grabbing my wallet.
She just rolled her eyes and grabbed her purse.
"Let's go I guess." She said getting up from the chair.
We walked to my car in silence. I didn't even bother opening the door for her. I know sounds like a dick move but I was to busy thinking about well guess. A few minutes later we finally arrived back at her place.
"Thanks for dinner Kirk maybe we could do this again sometime" she said with a smile
"Your welcome and sure." I said being as nice as I could. Instead of leaving she just sat there looking at me as if she was waiting for something
"Something wrong?" I said turning off the car radio.
"I don't get a goodbye kiss?" She said with a smile
"Kathy c'mon now were not dating." I said
"Who cares its just a goodbye kiss." She said
"Fine." I said. I went directly for her cheek but knowing Kathy she turned her head I pulled away before she could do anything else.
"What was that for?" She said
"Goodbye Kathy." I said coldly.
She gave me a dirty look and opened the car door. Suddenly the second she walked away I began to feel the panic through my body.
Well I only kissed her on the cheek and she turned her head. Shit how am I gonna tell Samantha shit I fucked up.
Samantha's POV
"David slow down I don't have to be home until 11 man!" I shouted
"Calm down Sammy it's okay. He said moving my hair out of my face.
"David im serious slow down we could get hurt!" I said
"Fine its just your dad seemed pretty serious when he said he wanted you home by 11 and its 10:33. He said looking at his watch.
I giggled and looked at him
"That's how my dad is. Ever since we lost my mom he's gotten way more strict with me and Graylin but I know he's just looking out for us." I said
"I'm sorry about your mom and yeah its good to have someone who looks out for you. My parents are never home and my dad always cheats on my mom. So I basically take care of Tyler. He looking from the road to me.
"Yeah." I said softly.
The rest of the ride home we stayed silent. A few minutes later we got back to my house.
"Thanks for everything David." I said grabbing my purse.
"Bye Sam maybe we could do this again." He said with a smile
"Yeah sure well bye David my dad is at the window." I said.
I walked to the front porch and my dad was sitting there reading his newspaper
