You sit on a stool at a table by yourself. Your friend bought you to a bar, trying to set you up after your breakup with Ashton. Your friend ended up ditching you for some guy as soon as she set foot through the door.
You order an alcoholic drink and you nearly spit it out when you see Ashton and a girl, their hands interlaced as Ashton talks to Michael. The girl begins to talk and Ashton spots you and you look at the drink, tears slipping down your face.
"Why didn't I say everything was alright?" You whisper to yourself. "Why did I let him go" You whisper again, voice cracking.

Michael:
'What would you do, what would you say, how does it feel, Pretend it's OK, My eyes deceive me, but it's still the same, Pretend it's OK.'

You were scrolling through Twitter, pictures of Michael and his new girlfriend seem to pop up everywhere. He looks happy. They done all the things you and Michael done and you felt hurt. Betrayed. You couldn't believe your eyes.
You just had to fake a smile and move on despite how hard it was.

Luke:
'I see the light that I'm chasing, A memory but it's fading and when it's gone i'll be waiting, knowing it's too late'

Memories of you and Luke flood back into your mind as you sit in an emotional heap on the cold tiles. The ones you thought were fading.
You see pictures of Luke and his new girl, Your heart breaks when you see them together.
He looks at her the way he used to look at you. They just look happy, and now here you are waiting but in the end you know it's too late.

Calum:
'One breath, One step, one life, one heart, two words, two eyes, new begging new start, too weak, too narrow too short, too bright, I'm better with you here by my side.'

You stare at the bottle of pills on the bathroom counter.
Should you?
You missed Calum. You miss everything about him and now you can't have it back.
He must be happy, you know. With that new girl of his.
You take a deep breath. You felt so emotional and weak. You were better with him by your side. You take a step forward, taking the bottle of pills in your hand. But then you thought, 'If he can be happy, why can't I?'.
You put the pills down. Time for a comeback, a new beginning. A fresh start.
