Chapter 10: Explosions, oh my!

The group had spent six months after Finding Pidge on the Castle, training, living, attempting to form Voltron with Pidge now with them.

Allura landed the black lion back in the hangar after an unsuccessful attempt. With a sigh, she took of the helmet and walked out.

Jynn frustratedly took off her helmet when she exited red. "We're never going to form Voltron and we're never going to find our friends." Jynn angrily told herself, making her way to the main room.

"We'll find them, Jynn." Said Allura, following her. "We found Pidge, we'll find the others." As they walked into the room, a flashing notification came up on one of the holograms.

"We seemed to be nearing the our first Galra station." Coran informed the group.

"Maybe this one has one of our friends on it to." Matt hoped.

"There's only one way to find out." Allura said. "Alright everyone, back in the lions." Carrie and Vara looked up from where they just walked in the room, and then spun back around and marched out again.

Allura got into black. The lion wasn't acting out of the ordinary or anything of the sort... kind of just... mildly interested in this mission.

Jynn, Carrie and Vara were soon out after her, speeding towards the base low down and out of sight. "Black isn't feeling anything." Allura reported.

"Neither's Blue," spoke Vara.

"My lion isn't feeling anything either." Carrie stated.

"I think it's Keith, guys." Jynn explained, gaining a giant dose of Hope. "Allura it's up to you, but I think Pidge should go in first because of the Green Lion's stealth capabilities." Jynn explained.

"Already on it." Pidge said, turning on the stealth mode at Allura's agreement, and the green lion shot towards the base, unnoticed.

"Alright Pidge, you want to be looking for large quantities of Galra or Andriods." Matt told his sister, observing the feed from the lion.

"I only see the normal am- wait, hold up, there's something here." They said, pulling the lion up above a large building with more guards than usual posted outside. "I think I've got something." They said, before moving closer in.

"Careful Pidge," Said Vara, a motherly tone in her voice.

"Just move in a little more." Coran ordered, zooming in the image.

"But not to close." Matt reminded Pidge.

Pidge followed the instructions, scoffing at their brother. "I'll be fine Matt."

"Shut up and stop right... now." Matt ordered his sister.

Pidge made Green freeze.
"What do you see?" Carrie asked, not able to see from where the other four lions were.

"A group of androids protecting some kind of Capsule, it seems." Coran responded.

"I was in a capsule," said Pidge. "It was like a cryo-pod."

"So it is - ah what was his name?- Keef?" Vara asked, causing Allura to chuckle.

"Keith." Jynn replied, a bit of agitation in her voice.

"Quiche?"

"K-ei-th." Jynn basically spelled out, more agitated than charmed.

"Now, Jynn." Allura warned.

"Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the Red Paladin out of there?" Carrie wondered aloud.

"I could cause a distraction so Pidge can get Kee- Keith." Vara righted herself.
