Jynn and Shiro laid on Shiro's bed, deep in conversation.

"I'm just saying, if we continue using ticks and vargas and such, how much longer will it be until our brains are wired to this new time system and we can't convert back to seconds and minutes?" Jynn explained while Shiro put his hands over his face.

"How can you not have the Altean's time burned into your brain? It's the only thing we use." Shiro asked, a bit curious at the fact that Jynn couldn't yet use the Altean's measurements of time after a year and a half.

"I've been to busy being productive, Takashi." Jynn explained.

"Let's just go to sleep." Shiro whispered and turned over. Shiro wrapped Jynn up in his arms and put his face in her brown curls.

"Good night, Jynn." Shiro whispered.

"Good night." Jynn replied closing her eyes.

They both soon fell asleep.

Jynn woke up at about 3:00 in the morning. She turned over to see the bed was empty. She stood and walked over to the bathroom to see if Shiro was there.

The bathroom was empty.

Jynn began to panic slightly and ran outside. She, in a haste like manor made her way to Keith's room. Keith wasn't there.

Jynn panicked majorly and ran to the main room where she pressed the big red alarm button. The alarm went off, Coran walked in tiredly, yawning loudly. "Is something the matter?" He asked sleepily, walking over to the control panel and turning off the alarm. Jynn hits the button again, and grabs him by the shoulders shaking him.

"SHIRO AND KEITH ARE GONE!" Jynn said in a panic. Matt walked in.

"What do you mean they're gone?" Coran questioned.

"Who's gone?" Matt asks.

Allura strides into the room, looking around, a look of determination on her face. "What's going on? What happened?"

"Shiro and Keith are missing. I-I woke up and Shiro wasn't there and I checked and Keith wasn't in his room..." Jynn stopped. "Why aren't the rest of the paladins responding..."

Matt's eyes widened in realization. He pushed past Allura and ran to his little sister's room. "PIDGE!" He yelled when he walked in.

The room was empty.

Allura went to Hunk's room and found the same thing. "They've all gone." She said, "Lance sleeps in Keith's room, and he wasn't there either."

Coran looked up at the screens. "Are the lions still here?"

Jynn couldn't wait for Coran to check. She ran to do it herself. Halfway through running Coran's voice over ran the ship. "Jynn, the Lions are all still here."

Jynn stopped in her tracks. There still had to be hope of something. Maybe they left to somewhere and didn't want to wake everyone so they used escape pods... or maybe they abandoned their friends and family.

No. They would never do that.

Jynn picked up her pace to the pods. They were all there. "I'm afraid there is no sign of them in the castle." Coran explained over the castle's intercom system.

Allura stepped up to the console. "I'll try and use the castle to see if there were any anomalies last night that could explain what's going on." She kept up her brave face, but inside she was panicking, desperate to find the Paladins, find her friends.

Jynn quickly made her way back to the others. There was no way in hell she would show to much of her emotions right now. She had to focus.

Coran worked hard at the computer and Matt freaked out a bit.
