It was Monday's morning. It was a peaceful morning, you couldn't able to hear a single sound, until a loud noise started to disturb my sleep. That loud noise was created by alarm of my mobile phone, which was on the bed-side table. I groaned under the cover as I lazily put out my hand to take the mobile to stop that damn annoying alarm. It was one of my habit, if I didn't cover myself up from the head to toe with bedsheet when I lay down on the bed, I couldn't able to sleep properly at all.
I looked at the time in my mobile with my sleepy eyes. It was 6 in the morning. I sighed and placed my mobile on my belly and started to put my face out of the cover. No sooner had I uncovered my face, I placed my hand on my eyes to save them from getting blind by the bright rays of the sun, which was coming through the white curtains of the glass window. It took some time to adjust my eyes in the daylight, until then I just laid there. Then I put the phone back on the wooden furniture beside my bed and started to rise myself, balancing my body weight in both of my arms.
'Seriously, why the hell these stupid mornings come? Doesn't the sun has any other jobs to do, other than disturbing my sleep? Oh god....' I thought to self. But then I sighed, because I know very well that THIS is the kind of prayer which will never be answered. I started to rub my eyes to bring back my eyesight which was lost because of sleeping, then I yawned and stood up from the bed. I was still half asleep then, as I took lazy steps towards the bathroom to fresh myself. I never bothered to pay any attention while doing my daily routine. My body just did it all by itself, never needed any order from my brain. Not like I actually wanted to pay any attention while doing these stuff though.
After a solid thirty minutes of torturing myself, sending my body from sleepy mode to active mode, there I finally was, standing in front of a mirror, wearing a sky shirt and grey short skirt, followed by a deep blue coloured blazer and a loose-knot-white-and-blue-printed tie. I always preferred to hang my tie loose and not to button up to the collar, 'cause it felt like someone is trying to stop my breathing. Not to mention, it was also my fashion. I need not to tie my hair though as this raven-coloured hair barely reached to the collar of the blazer.
I walked downstairs, holding my school bag, then put the bag on the sofa and went to kitchen. Before entering into the kitchen, my eyes fall upon a picture which was hanged on the wall beside the doorway of the kitchen. It was.... A pencil sketch of my own family, which was drew by me a long time ago. A small smile ghosted on my lips. "Good morning, mom... Dad.... Big brother..... Hope you guys are here today.... To see me....." These few words came out from my mouth almost like a whisper, once again I smiled and closed my eyes for a few moment, then I walked into the kitchen. I took two breads, gave them little heat, placed some butter on it and then it went into my mouth. After that I drank some water and walked out of the kitchen. I took my school bag and walked out from my house, locking the door behind. Here I must say one thing for you guys that this house wasn't created by me. His majesty told me to use this house as my own house. So I ended up here, in this somewhat-rich house.
Well, I was taking little steps so that I could able to feel the morning breeze. It was 6:40 A.M. then and it takes 10 minutes walk for me to go to school. So anyhow, I would ended up to reach in school 10 minutes earlier. The streets of this part of Insomnia were very beautiful I must say, in the morning light they looked so pretty! The path on which I was walking was covered by various kinds of leaves and the sun beams were coming through the trees creating a mysterious situation of light and darkness. The trees, which were on the both side of the footpath, altogether they created a beautiful canopy. There was a lake beside that path, the way the water was glistening by the sun beams, it almost looked like melting gold was there. Birds were chirping, slowly and soundlessly the cold yet refreshing wind was blowing through my hair, it was like for a moment I felt like I was in heaven. This part of Crown City was always calm, because both of my house and this school pretty much far away from the main heart of the city. I always liked silence so this thing didn't bother me at all, practically I LOVE the way up to school.
