Chapter 5: Planning For Going On A Trip

  One fine day in the school, we were bored to sit on desk. It was Saturday, summer vacation would start from next Wednesday in Lucis Academy, our school. First class was computer, teacher taught us about programming language of it, and we were listening quietly. Well I said "quietly" in Italic form, because we all know what it meant, when you didn't want to hear lectures, but still you were forced to. Right then, it was an off class, all students were busy gossiping with eachother. Prompto and Noctis were too no different from it. I was all by myself, taking a pencil in my hand, trying to do something. In front of me, there was a white sheet, pure white one, there was no scratch of either pencil or pen. I tried to think what to do but nothing came in my mind properly. Not knowing what to do, I started to draw a human figure, I didn't even know whose figure I was drawing until the end. When I finished it, I looked carefully at it, and then I came to understand that I accidentally draw the prince. It was just a simple pencil sketch, the picture was the prince was smiling slightly, giving his cool pose, there was cheerfulness in his eyes. I couldn't help but to smile, looking at the my own creation.

  Suddenly Prompto screamed loudly in front me. I jumped on my sit, placing a book quickly on the picture. When I looked at him, anger started to kick in. "Can't you at least act like a normal person, you whimp?" He chirped in, "Sorry to disturb you, watcha doing?" He asked me taking a sit beside me, not to mention, the prince also turned towards me. "Nothing in particular...." I said without looking at the gunslinger.

  "No no, you were doing something, something for sure!" Prompto started whining about it.

  "No I wasn't!"

  "No you were! I saw you were hiding something! Let me see it!" And so Prompto came to my desk and tried to take the book away, which covered my secret drawing. I tried stop him, but couldn't able to. He successfully took the book away and took the page to examine it. I was afraid that he would gave it to prince and the raven-haired prince would either be angry or never tried to talk to me ever again. My thinking came to true when I saw the blonde gave the picture to the Lucian prince, but the price just smiled softly watching the picture.

  I looked at him, became completely quite for not knowing what to say, instead waited for him to say, if only anything he wanted to say. He looked at me smiling, "Never knew you're such a good painter. This one is seriously good!" I couldn't help myself but a little blush appear on my face, to hide it, I looked down at the ground and said a quite 'thank you'.

  Well, after all this stuff, we settled down on our seats. "So what happened? Why you decided to destroy my peace?" I asked sacrasticly to Prompto with a voice full of annoyance. Prompto let his hands up, "I-It's because I uh-"

  "Do you have any plan for upcoming summer vacation?" Noctis asked directly to me. I saw Prompto was giving thanks to him. I sighed and said, "Nothing, I will stay at home I guess. You?"

  "Nothing in particular." They both said in unison. Then Prompto suddenly asked, "Why don't we go somewhere else in this summer vacation?" I looked at Prompto, hearing unexpected things from him. Seriously, I never thought he could able to think wise plans like this one. Well, the plan wasn't half bad at all. But the question was where to?

  The prince asked the same question which I thought of. "Yeah but where to?"

  "Somewhere, where we could relax and have fun." Wise one again came from Prompto.

  "Got any idea Cat? I can't able to think one." Noct said to me. I already started thinking where we could able to go.  Prompto stated some places though, but they weren't worthy to go and relax. I then stated, "What about Cape Caem? I heard there was a new resort which just opened few weeks ago and it is near the sea." The prince and the blonde agreed with me. They said they would bring Ignis and Gladio with them. Well I already know Ignis, and I meet with Gladio during my training to join Kingsglaive. In fact, he was the first one who taught some technic of fighting before Cor, so I basically know him, although, neither Noctis, nor Prompto knew about it. So it settled that we would met with eachother at the palace gate on Wednesday at 6 o'clock in the morning, since the car would be there at the garage and Cape Caem was a solid 4 hours driving so we had to get out early, and so we agreed on it.
