CHAPTER SEVENTEEN; THE END OF OUR FRIENDSHIP

Lexi’s pov.

"Oh shoot!" I snapped my head around to look at Alex; she was frantically searching through her bag.

"What?"

"I think I left my phone in the car, I need to get it, quick." Alex grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the car; I wasn't really paying attention I was just staring at the floor.

Alex must have stopped walking because next thing I knew my head slammed into the back of her body.

"What the hell Alex, I thought you had to get your phone quick?"

"Lexi..." Alex turned to face me and she was mad, extremely mad.

She pointed behind her and I took a step to the side to see what had made her so mad.

Oh hell no.

I could feel my blood boiling; the sight in front of me was disgusting.

Hilary and Kelsey had their dirty little fingers all over our boyfriends. I didn't even wait to see if Alex was going to follow me, I just stormed over there.

"What do you think you are doing Hilary?" Hilary always got what she wanted, and I could tell she wanted Jarred but she will never have him.

"Oh look what the cat dragged in? If you must know I am just talking to this handsome man, who is going to take me out next Friday." she winked at Jarred and my mouth hung open.

"W...What?" I couldn't believe he asked her out, only five minutes ago he was kissing me.

I could feel the tears forming in my eyes,

"Lexi..."                

"Don't; just don't talk to me Jarred." I started to turn away but Jarred grabbed my wrist forcing me to stop.

"Lexi, I never asked her out. I promise you. Tell her, I never asked you out." he was glaring at Hilary now

"You haven't asked me out yet, besides how do you know that." she turned her nose up when she referred to me as 'that.'

"I know her because I am in love with her and we are getting married." Jarred sounded so happy when he told her we were getting married, and I have to admit it made me feel happy to.

"You are marrying that? What is she doing to you?" Kelsey giggled at Hilary's comment as if it was actually funny.

"The only thing she is doing to me is making me fall completely in love with her." I felt Jarred's lips on my hair.

Hilary glared at me and pushed me away from Jarred.

"But baby, I could make you feel so much better than her." I could tell Jarred was struggling to stay in control.

Hilary looked at Kelsey and then Kelsey nodded. What were they up to?

"Hey handsome." Kelsey placed her hands on Caleb's arm.

Alex tensed up beside me; I could see her clenching and unclenching her fists.

"Get away Kelsey." she spoke through clenched teeth, venom dripping off of every word.

"Make me Alex."

"Oh, don't worry I plan on making you." I grabbed hold of Alex's wrist,

"They aren't worth it Alex, you know he loves you and not her." I spoke loud enough so I knew Kelsey could hear me clearly.

"Seriously?" Hilary and Kelsey spoke at the same time,

"How are the two hottest guys we have seen all year are going out with the ugliest girls in the world?" I wanted to hurt Hilary so bad, and I'm not normally a violent person.
