Giselle's POV
"Where were you?" Two-Bit said in a deep voice. Dallas, I assume, was smirking as he approached us. "Where I was is none of ya business Two-Bit" said the boy.
"Shut your trap Dally." said a man that looked like he could play play the role of Superman. "Heya Darry!" Johnny said with a toothy smile. The man smiled back.
"Heya Johnnycake, how ya been?" he asked, his attention now on Johnny. "Mom and dad still fightin', I ran away again" he said. His eyes held so much emotion that I wanted to cry for him.
"Well, you know it's alright to stay at our house Johnnycake. You and Pony can share the room" he said as he ruffled Johnny's hair. He smiled. "Thanks Darry"
Some kind of movement caught me out of the corner of my eye and I turned to see the one they call Dally, licking a piece of paper. His eyes landed on me and he smirked as he began to lick the paper more slowly.
I blushed a deep shade of red and turned away. "Hey" I jumped at the deep voice beside me and looked to see Dallas. He gave me a lopsided grin before speaking again.
"I don't believe I caught your name cutie"
"R-right n-now?" I stuttered looking at Two-Bit. He smiled and shook his head. "We can't talk on an empty stomach now can we?" he said and I smiled. "Alright then" I said as our order came.
As we began eating, I felt something on my left thigh. I nearly choked on my barbeque sandwitch. I looked down and saw a hand. I followed the hand up to its owner and saw it was Dally's hand.
I felt the heat run up from my neck to my cheeks. "Heya, Gis? You alright? You've gone all red" Johnny pointed out. I mentally cursed him for putting me on the spot because now I have a worried Two-Bit and a smirking Dallas looking at me.
I smiled at Johnny and nodded as more heat began to rise. "Y-yeah, I'm alright Johnny. J-just a little hot that all" I stuttered a little.
"You sure? You're redder than a tomato" Johnny said with a little laugh. I smiled again at him and nodded. "Yup, I'm okay" I said. He nodded before going back to eating his sandwitch.
For the remainder of the time, Dallas kept his hand on my leg while Two-Bit would ask me if I was alright. When we were all finished, Two-Bit announced that he would be taking me home.
Dally glared at him when he said that but didn't say anything. Dally and Johnny headed back towards Ponyboy's house while Two-Bit and I headed towards the direction of mine.
"So what did you wanta talk to me about?" I asked as we began to walk slowly. He looked up at the star filled sky and said, "It's about us" he said. My heart lept up to my throat when he said "us".
"W-what about us?" I said trying to play it cool. "I don't know. I just feel like there's somethin' there for you that I haven't noticed before" he said.
"Like what?" I asked looking at him. "Giselle. I-I think I like you" he said. I knew for a fact that the only time he wouldn't call me by my nickname is when there was something serious.
"Like? As in friends? Or-"
"No, as in more than friends" he interrupt me. By now we had both stopped walking and were now staring at each other.
I was still processing what he has said when I felt something on my lips. My eyes widened and I looked up to see Two-Bit standing in front of me with his lips on mine.
He pulled away and I felt lightheaded. My heart was pounding and I felt like I was flying. "Well, your house is right here, so I guess this is goodnight" he said. I looked over his shoulder and saw that we did stop in front of my house.
He smiled at me and leaned in to kiss my cheek. A blush formed on my cheeks as I watched him turn on his heel and walk away.
I can't believe that just happened.
Keith Two-Bit Mathews just kissed me on the lips...
