A/n: I just want to say happy birthday to my friend. This book was made especially for her. Now, I present to you, Chapter 28!

Ponyboy's POV

To say this is a crazy party is an understandment. It seemed like Johnny and I were the only ones not drunk.

Dally, Two-Bit, and Giselle went off somewhere and haven't been back in a while. Darry is drunk and has his arm around Soda while Soda is flirting with a girl with Steve by his side.

There was a ton of other people, that I don't know, also drunk all the whole music is blasting.

I sighed and looked over at Johnny. He had a cup in his hand with his head laying back on the couch and his eyes shut. I could tell he was still awake because he was tapping his finger on his cup.

I smiled and copied his movements as I let the music consume my ears.

Giselle's POV

The only thing I could do is blush.

I mean, you would too if you were in a situation where you have a guy holding you up by the waist and kissing you while another guy is kissing your neck.

It just happened so quick and I still don't understand what's happening. All I know is that it feels good.

I pulled away from Dally as my lungs gave out. I heard Two-Bit chuckle as he brought his lips up my neck and his hands down to my butt.

I bit my lip as I blushed more. I looked down at Dally and he smirked before taking my lip from my teeth and bitting down on It himself.

I gasped and he slipped his tounge into my mouth. I was surpised at first but then kissed back.

I felt Two-Bit move some of my hair aside before feeling his lips upon my neck once more. I moaned into Dally's mouth and he smirked on my lips before pulling away.

"Hey Bit, your turn" Dally said with a smirk as he set me down. Two-Bit hummed in response before turning me around and kissing my lips.

I moaned again as I felt his hand go back down to my butt again. "I'm gonna get some drinks" I heard Dally say before hearing the door shut.

Two-Bit pulled away from me and grabbed my hand. He walked us over to the bed and sat me down gently.

"I want to have your permission before I go any further Giselle" he mumbled as he laid me down with him on top of me. "Do u have your permission?" he asked in a husky voice.

I blushed while thinking.

I have two options here:

1) say yes and loose my virginity to one of my bestfriends.

Or

2) say no and wait until I'm older.

He saw me arguing with myself and took it as a sign. "It's alright Gis, I won't force you" he said, kissing my cheek before getting off of me.

I sat up and looked at him. He smiled down at me. "I get it, you don't want to. I won't force you" he said simply. I smiled at him with a blush.

He was about to say something but the door was thrown open and in walked Dally. "Gis, they want ya to open your presents" he said as he set a cup down on the nightstand.

I smiled and stood up. "Alright" I said before following the two towards the party. Immediately, I was hit with smell of smoke and alcohol.

I cringed as we walked over to a table full of presents. Dally yelled and, somehow, got everyone's attention.

"Alright! Giselle is about to open presents!" he announced. I rolled my eyes as I begin to unwrap my presents.

All in all, I received twelve packs of cigarettes(which I gave to Dally and Two-Bit since I don't smoke), three bottles of alcohol(which I gave to Darry and Sodapop), and a few outfits(two weren't even my size).

I began to unwrap my last present when I was stopped. "Gis!? Gis, hold up!" I heard Johnny yell over the, still, blasting music. I stopped and looked over at him.

He looked at the half unwrapped gift before looking at me. He smiled. "Alright, continue" he said as Ponyboy stood next to him. I quirked a brow before I finished unwrapping the unknown gift.

Inside the wrapping paper, there was a small box. I hummed before lifting the lid off the box. I gasped at what I saw.

It was a book called "Gone with the Wind". I cupped a hand over my mouth as my eyes began to water. I picked up the book and opened it to see a note.

Hey Giselle,

I'm still remembering the first time you came into our group. You changed everyone's life then. Now, we've all had a lot that's happened to us. What I'm saying is, do what you want and don't let anyone change who you are. Happy Birthday Gis.

I smiled as a tear ran down my cheek. I looked up and hugged Ponyboy. He laughed. "Keep readin' Gis! You haven't read Johnny's part!" he said.

I nodded and continued reading.

Dear Giselle,

I found that in life, there are many things that can be changed. I also learned to love myself insead of putting myself down. I just want to thank you for coming into my life Gis. Darry had told me about the news. I would be glad to live with you Gis but there is also a cost. This cost being putting many people in danger. My mother and father don't take things lightly, so as soon as they find out in missing, they'll be in a hunt until officers call me dead. I know you like to look at the sky when the sun sets, just like Ponyboy and Cherry. I love you mom.

I sobbed into my hand and looked up at the two. Pony has a soft smile on his face while Johnny had a smile with tears running down his cheeks.

"Oh Johnny" I said before wrapping him in a tight embrace. He cried into my shoulder as I kissed the top of his head.

"You'll be safe soon" I said as I kissed his head again. He held me tighter as he heard those words.

The thing about Johnny is, he was never safe at home. With two alcoholic parents and no one but a group of friends to care about him, it was pretty hard for him.

Now, he doesn't have anything to worry about because I'll be taking care of him.

Johnny's POV

All I ever wanted is coming true. I'll no longer have to come home scared or hestitantly walk into a room. I won't have to get hit every time I screw something up or get objects thrown at me.

Giselle helped...Giselle saved me. She's all I can depend on now to care for me as if she were my own mother.

I released our hug and whipped the tears from my eyes. She grabbed my face in her hands and made me look into her eyes. She smiled through her tears.

"You don't deserve that Johnny, and I'm here to take you away from that. At any cost" she said before kissing my forehead. I smiled and nodded at her.

She let my face go and hugged Ponyboy. She shared a few words with him before letting him go. She still had an arm around his shoulders and called for me to join them.

I smiled and walked over. She wrapped her other arm around my shoulders and held the both of us close to her.

I looked over at Darry and he winked at me. I smiled and rested my head on Giselle's shoulder.

Stay gold, I thought as I closed my eyes and let the music consume me.
