Johnny's POV

I groaned as I sat up, only to realize I was in the back seat of Giselle's car. I looked around me and saw that only Gis was in the car. She was sleeping.

I quietly opened the car door and stepped out. I shut the door, making sure to be extra quiet so I wouldn't wake her.

I then limped my way over to the abandoned church. I saw Dally and Ponyboy sitting on the porch steps and were talking.

"Heya there Johnnycake, how ya feel?" Ponyboy asked, standing up to help me. I shook my head to talk him I didn't need help and answered. "I feel sore. My whole body is achin' and hurtin'" I said as I cautiously sat down.

"You should be glad we were there in time to scare 'em away" Dally said with a smirk. I smiled and nodded. "Oh I am Dally! I was just hopin' y'all got to me sooner than later" I said and he chuckled.

"We would have if you hadn't disappears like that" he answered. "How's your stomach feelin' man?" Pony asked as he pointed towards it. I looked down at my own stomach and shrugged.

"It doesn't hurt as much but there's still gonna be a bruise" I answered. "Anyone got a cancer stick?" I asked. Dally took one out of his pocket and handed it to me along with a light.

I lit it up and slowly inhaled the smoke. It relaxed my nerves as I puffed it out. We looked out towards the sun and I smiled as I felt a gentle breeze go by.

"Ever wonder why Cherry's always so rude?" Dally said breaking the silence. I removed my eyes from the setting sun and looked at him. I shrugged.

"Maybe it was because of what happened that one night we went to the movies. Ya know, when you bought her a Coke and she spilled it on ya" Pony said. I stifled a laugh as Dally glared at him.

Man, if looks can kill, I think Ponyboy would already be rotting in hell!

"She needed to cool down so I bought her somethin' cold" he said and I laughed."Ya can't tell that to a girl Dally, she won't like ya" I said through my laughter. He chuckled. "Yeah...maybe your right" he said.

We all turned back to the sky and watched as the sun set slowly. Soon, it was gone beyond the horizon.

"Well, y'all better get some rest. We have to get back to town tomorrow or else Darry'll have my head for takin' you two" Dally said as he stood.

Ponyboy and I stood as well with smiles on our faces. "Y'all go on and sleep in the church of you'd like. I'm goin' to sleep in the car with Gis" he said as he made his way over to the car.

"I don't like it" I said after Ponyboy and I walked into the church. "What do ya mean Johnny?" he asked as he turned on his side to face me. I looked up at him and shrugged

"It's strange 'cause everytime Gis is around Dally or Two-Bit, she acts all weird. Like the other night, she was sittin' in between Dally and Two-Bit and she was turnin' as red as a tomato" I said as Pony listened.

"And then in the car when we were sleepin' , I heard them talkin' but Dally wasn't his normal cocky self" I said. Pony sighed.

"I don't know Johnny. I think there's something fishy goin' on with the three of 'em, but I'm not sure what" he said. We fell back into silence as we both thought of what was going on between them.

"Let's just get some rest Johnny. You're gonna need it especially" he said interrupting our silence. I just nodded and turned towards the direction of the wall.

I yawned before closing my eyes and dozing off, thinking about the posibilities of what was happening with Two-Bit, Dally, and Giselle.

Maybe she's datin' one of 'em and the other doesn't approve?
