Dally's POV

"Alright Winston, you're free to go" said the officer as he opened my cell. I stood up and smirked at him. "'t' was a pleasure meetin' ya" I said as I walked out.

I grabbed all my things from the office and walked out. I wasn't expecting to see Darry standing there but he was. I gave him a sheepish smile.

"I-"

"Don't wanna hear it Winston" he growled before jumping in his car. I stood where I was and stared at him. He looked at me through the opened window.

"You either get in or walk Dallas, you choose" he growled once more. I quickly nodded before jumping in the passenger seat.

Two-Bit's POV

The four of us sat in the Curtis's house awkwardly. 1) because no one wanted to bring up what happened last night. 2) because no one dared to talk about Dally. And 3) because we were just antisocial around each other.

It was weird seeing Johnny just sit there and twitch ever now and then because he can't stand the silence. And how Ponyboy would always take a look at the door as if waiting for somebody.

It was also weird seeing Gis stuck in her own thoughts staring out the window. But none of us spoke.

That is until the door opened and Darry came in with Dally close behind him. We all looked and my expression changed.

From one so confused and lost, to one of hatred and anger. I was frustrated with Dally because of him using these two kids just to pick up some girls.

I stood up and walked out the room.

Giselle's POV

"Darry, is it alright if me and Ponyboy go 't' the store? Y'all runnin' low on food" Johnny spoke up. Darry's hard expression turned softer and he nodded.

"Here's a couple bucks" Darry said handing them a twenty. That nodded and walked out of the house.

"Why aren't they on house arrest?" Dally whined. Darry's expression hardened. "Because they ain't the ones who got arrested for the sixth time this month now were they?" He growled.

I jumped a bit at his tone. There are times that Darry could be sweet or act like a father figure, and then there's the times he could be scary.

"But-"

"But nothing Dally!! You're gonna be stayin' here for a month and if you don't get your act straight, then I'm sendin' you back to officer Hayes! I'll have him take care of ya and make sure that ya have no one to talk to!!" Darry boomed.

Dally's once carefree expression turned hard. "You listen here Darrel Curtis 'n' ya listen real good. I ain't goin' 't' stay here just 'cause they put me on house arrest. I'm goin' 't' go back on those streets and do what I do best" Dally said in a stern voice.

Darry took a step forward and garden his expression more. "'n' where 'actly is that Dallas?" he said in a deep voice. Dally took a step back and shook his head.

"I ain't gotta tell ya nothin'" he said before turning on his heal and walking towards the door. He stopped when his hand reached the doorknob.

"Tell Two-Bit it's that time of the year 'gain" he said before walking out. I looked up at Darry to see him still staring at the door.

I cleared my throat and got his attention. He looked at me and he smiled. I thought for a second he was going to turn on me but he just smiled down at me.

"Heya there Gis, ya sleep well last night?" he asked as his body relaxed. An imaged popped in my head and I immediately blushed. He chuckled as he understood why.

"Sorry, didn't mean to-"

"No it's fine! I slept well, and you?" I asked quickly which just made him burst out laughing. I felt my cheeks burn more. "I slept well too Gis" he said before walking into the kitchen.

Golly why did he have to ask!!?
