Don't tell me you love me
When you're happy or overwhelmed with emotion
Tell me you love me
When I've made you absolutely furious and underneath your frustration you remember how much you cherish my existence over my absence.
Promise to tell me when I've eaten the last of your favorite food
Tell me when I refuse to listen to you
Tell me when I make you lose your religion
Tell me when I've stressed you out
Tell me you love me
But never in happy moments
Because moments don't last and happiness isn't forever...
