After Lilliana and Alex got on the bus Alex put in her ear buds and listened to her music since she didn't know anyone except for her sister. Alex put on the song "Peter Pan" by Kelsea ballerini. This song always made her cry because it reminded her of her nephew that died a long time ago.
When Alex started to tear up, Lilliana got up from her seat and sat next to Alex and hugged her to comfort her.
"Don't worry Alex, everything will be okay." She said in a kind voice.
"I know, but I miss him so much. Why did god have to take him away from us?!" I sobbed.
"See, this is why mom told you not to listen to that song anymore, it will only make you cry."
"I don't care Lily, I miss him I will do anything to remember him."
After a while Alex fell asleep on Lilliana's shoulder until the got to school. When they arrived at the school Lilliana had to shake Alex awake.
"Whaaaat?" Alex asked.
"It's time to wake up, we are at school."
"Fine. After school will you please talk to your teacher about you problem, moms been asking you to Di that all summer."
"Alright I will, I gotta go Alex. Have a good day!"
"You too."
~Alex's p.o.v~
I took my ear buds out of my ears, since I fell asleep with them in and turned off my phone and wrapped the ear buds up on my phone.
Alex went to the office to get her schedule since she started half way into the year, she also got her locker combination. Alex had trouble getting to most of her classes that day but managed to actually get to them.
"hey" someone says.
"Um, hello" Alex said nervously.
"Are You new here? What's your name?" The stranger asked.
"Yes I am new and I'm Alexandria, but you can call me Alex."
"Cool, I'm Amber, nice to meet you Alex!"
"You too."
"Well I gotta go Alex I will see you later though alright."
"Okay, bye."
~That Night~
Alex kept thinking about Amber and how she was so nice to her, Alex kept getting this weird feeling ever since she met Amber.
"Why is it so hard to get her off my mind?" Alex says.
Alex thought it was just because of her being her first friend from this school, but she was also thinking it could be something else.
