After a few minutes of hiding in the ceiling, Alex and Amber climbed back down since the intruder walked to another part of the school.
"So, what are you planning on doing, Alex?" Amber whispers.
"Im gonna talk to him." Alex whispers back.
"Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean he sounds dangerous."
"He's my father, Amber. I have to or someday in the future this will happen again."
"Alright, but im gonna run to class."
"Alright, bye."
"Good luck!" Amber yells while running to class.
"I heard talking!" The intruder says.
"Yea, come get me!" Alex yells.
The intruder runs down the hallway towards Alex yelling. He gets to the cafeteria and stares at Alex in shock. Alex stares back at him in anger.
"Alex?" He says. "Is that you?"
"Hey...father" Alex says in anger.
"Finally, Ive found you."
"What do you want?"
"I miss you."
"Okay, cool, now leave the school."
"Not until you see what u got for you."
"Dad, why wiuld I want a gift from the man who helped my ex boyfriend try to kill me? Im still upset with myself for not figuring out before we moved."
"Yeah...about your ex."
"What?"
"Alright, come here Aj!" Alex's father screams down the hall.
"You didn't?"
"I did, Alex."
"Alright whats my surprise Ben?" Aj says.
Alex stands there in fear, staring at Aj while Aj does the same with no fear. Aj starts to speak.
"Alex? Wow, you look beautiful."
"Save it, you jerk. You've never liked me, you just wanted to use me."
"Thats not true, I thought you cheated on me. Alex, I never wanted to hurt you."
"Shut up!"
"Alex, let him talk." Her dad says.
"Thank you Ben. Alex, I miss you, ever since that day I hated myself for what I did."
"Yeah, wishing you could do more to me, huh?"
"No...wishing I would've never done it." Aj says walking up to Alex.
"Aj, you're dead to me. And im giving you guys a chance to get the hell out of the school, you just got out of jail you dont need back in."
Alex walks off leaving Aj and her dad alone. Alex sees the police walk into the school and tells them that the intruders got away. Alex walks to class to tell everyone that it was okay and that the intruders were gone. The teacher called the office and told them the news.
After a few hours, it was the end of the day and Amber, Alex, Josh and Katie all walk to the house. When they got home, everyone went to their rooms without a word except Alex and Amber saying "I love you" to each other.
