*phone rings* "Hello, love!" Katie says. "Hello, Angel!" Alex says. "I miss you, how's college?" "I miss you too, college is going great." "I wish I could've came with you it's been 2 years. We only see each other during breaks." "I know. Well, hey I just called to tell you I miss you and I love you, I gotta go." "Okay, talk to you later, I love you. Bye." *phone hangs up* Alex runs down the hall to her class when she is stopped. "Why aren't you in class, Alex?" "Drake, for the last time I'm taken, and I was on my way til you stopped me." "Oh I know your taken, you just have to know I don't care." Drake says. "Goodbye, Drake." "Someday, Alex, you will be mine." "Doubt it!" Alex says running down the hall. After the school day Alex ran to her dorm room and laid on her bed and started to text Katie. "Hey, you." "What, Adrianna?" "Why are you always on your phone it's like that's your life." "So?" "Give me your phone I'm taking your out." "No." "Whatever, you were gonna get laid tonight but, whatever." "I told you, I've gotta girlfriend." "Oh yeah, that lame Katie girl." "She's not lame!" Alex snapped. "Whatever, bye." Two weeks later and Alex is starting to become depressed, she called Katie. "Hey, Angel." "Hey, what's up?" "I'm depressed." "Why so?" "I miss you way too much." "Awww. I miss you to. Only 2 more years and you will be able to see me everyday." "I wanna see you now though." "I do to, but we both know that abt happen." "I know... Wait, I gotta go, talk to you later, I love you!" "Love you to!" Alex hangs up the phone and starts to run to the office. When she gets there somebody was already talking to the principal so she had to wait. After thirty minutes it was Alex's turn to talk to him. "Excuse me, Mr. Flander?" "Yes, Alex?" "I was wondering if I could have the week off, I would like to take a personal vacation. "Why so?" "I have big plans this week." "And you expect me to just let you out?" "Sir, please, I can't let this pass." " *sigh* fine, but only a week, I wanna see you back here in seven days, if not then you're expelled. Do you understand?" "Yes sir." "Okay, have a nice weekend. I will see you Thursday." "Bye, Mr. Flander." "Goodbye, Alex." Alex, walks out of the office and starts to run across campus to collect her things to drive home. Alex gets to her car and jumps in, she starts to drive off before Drake could see her. Two hours of driving and Alex sees a Jewelry store, she stops to pick up a ring. "Hi, do you have any engagement rings?" "Yes, we have a selection of engagement rings." "May I see them?" "Yes, come to the back please." "Okay." After a while of looking Alex finally picks one. "That one, how much?" "$1,500." "Sold!" "Her you go, ma'am." "And here's your money. Thank you."

Alex runs out of the store, jumps in her car and starts to head towards her home town. After another two hours Alex gets to her and Katie's house. Alex walks up to the door, not caring about the pouring rain, with a rose and the ring, rings the doorbell as she gets down on one knee and waits. "Coming!" Katie yells. Katie opens the door and looks down. "Katie, you have been the highlight of the years we've been together, you were there for me through thick and thin through sickness and through all the tears. You make me who I am today, you make me wanna be something I never thought I could be. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you Katie. So Katie... Will you marry me?" "yes!" Katie says crying. Alex stands up and pulls Katie into a kiss.
