Katie gave Alex her phone number because she wanted to become great friends with her. At the end of the day Katie texted Alex right away.
~TEXTS~
"Hiya!"
"Hey, Katie."
"Whatcha doin?"
"Nothing."
"Fun..."
"Hahaha...no"
"Well, anyway, do you wanna spend the night?"
"Um, I barely know Ya?"
"What do you think I'm gonna do...kill Ya?!"
"...really?"
"Please!?"
"Fine, I will be over soon."
"Yay!!!"
" lol, bye"
" bye!"
~At The SleepOver~
After an hour in Alex gets a call from Amber. Alex was scared at first and then pushed the button and put it up to her ear.
"Hello"
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah, why?"
Amber hangs up, Alex was confused about what just happened and then forgot about it.
"Alex?"
"Yea?"
"come give me a hug."
"Okay?"
Alex goes upto Katie and gives her a big hug after 10 seconds Alex was pinned onto the floor.
"What the?"
Katie just sat there, looking into Alex's eyes.
"You have pretty eyes Alex."
"Thank you?"
Katie got off of Alex she asked Alex if she wanted to call some more people over and play "Spin The Bottle"
"Sure!" Alex says. ""I love that game!"
"Good!"
They called a few more of Katie's friends over and they all said yes.
The girls wait for the others to get to Katie's house so they could start the game when they hear a sudden knock at the door, it was Amber. Alex was shocked to see her since she thought they were mad at one another for some reason.
"Amber?"
"That's me."
"What are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to you, can we step outside maybe go for a quick walk?"
"Um, sure. I need a walk anyway."
"Great, let's go."
It's silent for the first few minutes of the walk and then Alex started to speak.
"So, uh, what did you need to talk about?"
"Oh yeah. Haha. Are you okay though?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Because you've been acting strange for a while now and your making me worried, I just need to know if your okay or not."
Alex is silent because she is scared on where this is going. She thinks of what to say.
"I don't know how to put this, Amber."
"What?"
"Amber, I'm...bisexual." Alex says blushing a deep red.
"Oh."
"Yeah, there I told you my biggest secret."
"So am I."
"Wait, you're bi?"
"Yeah."
"Oh."
"That's another reason why I came to talk to you Alex."
"Huh?"
"I...I like you Alex." Amber says.
"Oh."
"Yeah, I ruined a friendship."
Amber keeps babbling on worried that they are gonna "split apart" as friends. Alex starts to tear up because she kept hearing all these things that weren't true and she thinks that Amber is going to run away with tears filling Her eyes.
Amber and Alex walk onto the bridge and leans against the railing for a while. It is a full moon so there was a good amount of light out and it started to sprinkle after they got onto the bridge.
The two girls start talking about "certain things" until it started to downpour on them.
"Yes, I've waited all night for this moment!" Amber whispered to herself.
Amber looked straight into Alex's eyes while Alex was trying to get her hood from her hoodie up to avoid the rain.
"What?" Alex asked.
Amber kissed Alex's cheek and then started to walk away. Alex runs to Amber and turns her around. Amber starts walking backwards away from Alex so she wouldn't get punched, if Alex was going to.
Alex ran to Amber and kissed her. They didn't care it was raining, they were happy. For once Alex felt happy but also confused. Alex pulls away from the kiss.
"I...I'm sorry." Alex says.
Alex runs back towards Katie's house where the others were, leaving Amber in the pouring rain alone.
