~The Next Morning~
Alex was tired, but she knew she had to go to school. Plus she wanted to see if what she thought was true.
"It just can't be that, can it?" She says.
"Can't be what?" Someone asks from behind her.
Alex turns around expecting to see the face of a worried mother but no, Alex was relieved to see the face of her sister.
"Oh, it's just you Lilly."
Yeah, mom told me to come wake you up so she can go back to bed. She doesn't feel well."
"Oh, okay." Alex says.
It's silent for a while until Lilly starts speaking again.
"You didn't answer my question Alex."
" What question?"
"What can't what be?"
"Oh, that question."
"Yea, that question. Spill it."
"Fine. Yesterday I made a friend and after talking to her and seeing her all day, I don't know if this is it but..."
Alex was interrupted by Lilly.
"And you think you like her."
"Yea."
"Okay, well let's go! We have to leave in 15 minutes!"
~At school~
~Amber's p.o.v~
I see Alex walk into the school and she looked a little worried about something so I walked up to her and said hi.
"Hey Amber" she said not looking at me.
When I asked Alex if she was okay all she did was blow me off and ran away.
"Okay? That makes me worried."
~Alex p.o.v~
After I ran away I, of course, ran to my locker so I wouldn't be late for class. When I got all my stuff for class I walked right in since my locker was only a few feet away from homeroom. When I walked in I saw Amber.
"Crap! I forgot Amber was in homeroom with me!"
When Alex sat down Amber walked over and said.
"So, Alex, what class you got first?"
"Health." Alex says.
"NO WAY, SO DO I!" Amber says out loud.
"Great." Alex says with a sarcastic voice.
