"Come back, Alex!" Amber yells down the road.
"No! Stay away from me or you'll get punched!" Alex says furiously.
"Just stop and let me explain! Please?"
"Why should I, Amber? I can clearly see that you and Josh have a thing!"
"It didn't mean anything!"
"Sure it didn't, because sleeping with someone doesn't mean a thing!" Alex said sarcastically.
"Listen im sorry!"
"Screw you! Go away!" Alex says running away.
Amber drops to the ground, eyes filled with tears but trying to hold them back.
"Amber?" Josh says walking up to her.
"What?"
"If that didnt mean anything then..." Josh was interrupted.
"You know what Josh, it did mean something. Do you want to go out?"
"Uhhh, sure?"
"Okay."
Alex heads to where katie worked to surprise her. When Alex gets there, she walks in and up to Katie, without Katie looking.
"Katie!"
Katie turns around and Alex pulls her into a kiss. When they pull away, Katie is confused.
"May I ask what just happened, Alex?"
"Will you go out with me, Katie?"
"Um, I dont know."
"I will let you think about it."
"Okay? Wait, aren't you dating Amber?"
"Not any more."
"Why, what happened?"
"I saw her and Josh in bed together this morning."
Katie is silent until she pulls Alex into a hug. Alex starts to cry as Katie keeps trying to comfort her.
Katie asks her boss if she could take her break early.
"Oh please no, Katie, you dont have to." Alex says.
"But I want to, my friend is hurt and I want to be there for her."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Okay, but when we are done im bringing you back to work."
"I know, dork."
The two girls walk out of the shop laughing.
