"Alex, let's go!" Josh yells.
"I don't wanna go, im fine now!" Alex yells back.
"The doctor still needs to check and see if your okay, Alex." Katie says softly.
"Fine, but only if you're there with me." Alex says Kiddishly.
"I will be there."
"Then let's go."
"Thank you." Josh mumbles.
They all walk out to the car and hop in to drive to the hospital. After a long drive they get to the hospital and walk in to see the doctor that treated Alex. When they asked for the doctor a nurse came out wanting to talk to Josh.
"Josh Swarnes?"
"Uh, yes, that's me. May I help you?"
"Well your wife is needing you in room 107."
"My wife?"
"Amber Swarnes."
"She's not my wife, but what's wrong?"
"Come with me."
Josh follows the nurse to room 107 when the doctor comes out to talk to Katie and Alex.
"Hello, Katie, Alex."
"Hello sir." The girls both say in unison.
"So, let's see how your doing, if you would follow me right this way."
Three hours later and Alex is all okay. While Katie and Alex wait for Josh to get back, they decide to play a game. An hour passed and Josh comes walking out.
"Hey, is everything okay?" Katie asked.
"Uh, guys, I'm a father..."
"What?!" Alex says in surprise.
"Congrats, I guess."
"What's wrong?"
"You're still in school Josh."
"So I have the rest of the summer to figure things out."
"Okay, let's not argue, stay here with Amber we are leaving."
"Okay."
Alex and Katie walk out of the hospital to the car and start to drive home."
"Hey, Katie?"
"Yes, love?"
"Josh having a child now has got me thinking..."
"About?"
"Why don't we drop out of school."
"For what reason?"
"We don't need these last two years do we?"
"If you wanna get a job then yeah."
"We can take online classes then, I just don't wanna go to school."
"Alright."
"Listen I know you do... Wait, what?"
"Alright, let's do it."
"Really? Your agreeing with me."
"Yeah, it would give us time to do more things and I can take another work shift if I wanted to."
"Sweet, we will do it tomorrow."
"Okay."
The girls pull into their drive way, get out of the car and head inside to eat dinner. The two girls finished their meal and went to the couch to watch a movie. After two hours the two girls are fast asleep.
