Im home.

Next day.

Xavier POV

I woke up in the hospital chair to see Ace staring into space like he was in deep thought.

"Wassup bro." I said

He broke his gaze and looked at me "I know who shot me."

I hopped out my seat "Man why you ain't tell me yesterday I coulda deaded they ass. Who did it?"

"Man I was gone tell you but I knew how you would react I wanna be the one to pull that trigger but in the meantime we need to have somebody from the crew watching his ass twenty-four seven I wanna know where his mama stay,his granny stay, and anybody else he close to."Ace said with a look of hatred on his face.

"Done all I need is a name." I said preparing to go to the trap and tell them what's up.

"Los" Ace said with disgust

I thought about it for a minute Los that named sounded so familiar but I couldn't think of where I knew it from.

Then I remembered

" I know you not talking bout punk ass Los that tried to be down when we first start coming up. "  I said shocked

"Man I know I was thinking the same thing he got balls to try and kill me I just can't wait to get out of here so I can see his face right before I kill his hoe ass."

I shook my head I can't believe the audacity of this bitch ass nigga if Ace ain't tell me he wanted to pull the trigger I woulda been on my way to find him .

"Man Ima come and see you later let me go handle this shit at the trap." I said and dapped him up and left.

30 mins later

I pull up to the trap and called Buddha to open the door. He did and I walk in I told him I wanted everybody in the meeting spot.

While he gathered everyone up I walked in the basement /meeting spot that was filled with chairs. Less than five mins later the room started to fill up.  I waited until everyone was in attendance before I got up and went to the front of the room.

"Alright I called this meeting for two reasons I said getting straight to the point. First Ace woke up last night and he should be out within the next week or so." I heard a few that's wassups and seen a lot of headnods. I continued "Second we know who shot Ace" They all sat attentively waiting for me to give them a name and an order.

I looked at all of them "His name is Los and as bad as I wanna kill him Ace told me he wanted to pull the trigger so until he step foot out the hospital I want y'all two watching his every move" I said pointing to  Buddha and Chris.

"I also want somebody watching his mama house his kids and anybody else close to him" they all nodded.

"Alright get back to work" I said ending the meeting.

I guess Ima head home and take a shower and a much needed nap.

Keyanna POV

Toya took me to her house and I spent the night with her. We stayed up all night talking about everything.

She said I should forgive Xavier because he was.stressed and  under alot of  pressure and probably didn't mean anything he said.

When she said that I just shook my head I know he was under pressure but my feelings are still hurt and he didn't need to take his anger out on me .

She told me I need to put my big girl panties on and talk it out. I promised her I would at least hear him out.

After we finished our talk I went to sleep cause she was on the phone with Ryan.

Now it's morning and I asked Toya to drop me off at my apartment so I can get ready to visit Ace a little later. She said OK and threw on some clothes.

*At the apartment *

I stepped into the apartment door and waved to Toya she waved back and pulled off. I walked up the steps to the apartment and stood at the door. An uneasy feeling washed over me the first thing I thought of was Amere I walked away from the door and down the hall to Mrs.Nancy's.

I spent two  hours down at Mrs. Nancy's I did all the girls hair and played dress up with them and promised I'll be back for dinner.

I walked back to my apartment and unlocked the door.

I still had this uneasy feeling but I tried to shake it off. 

I was walking towards the bathroom when I stopped I heard cry's coming from my mother's room.

Then I heard a loud boom "The more you cry the more I'm going to hit you" the voice sounded so familiar but I couldn't be sure of who it was.

I tiptoed closer and closer to the door trying my hardest to be quiet.

I finally reached the cracked door to see my mama laying on the floor with a bloody nose , busted lip, and a swollen eye.  I couldn't even bare to look at her who would dare do this to her . Even though she's not the perfect mother I still love her.

I slowly looked up to see .... no it can't be I almost pissed on myself I was so scared . He unbuckled his pants preparing to enter my mom.

She looked so hopeless. I tried slowly walking away from the door but the old floor creaked causing his eyes to meet with mine.

He slowly pulled up his pants will I tried to run out the apartment.

I was at the door about to turn the nob when he grabbed my hair and yanked me to the ground.
