"Thank God I'm finally off work" I said then I went to the back to get my coat and unbrella.
As I was stepping out the doors I realized the rain was worse than I thought
Fuck ! It's gone take me forever to get home.
I zipped my coat up tighter and threw my umbrella up getting ready to walk all these blocks to my house.
I have only been walking for five minutes but it felt like twenty I pulled out my phone and called my bestfriend Toya to see if she could come get me but she didn't answer.So I started walking again but a white Range Rover pulled up beside me.
My heart stopped OMG they're going to kidnap me.
I stopped over exaggerating when I heard him say "Keyanna "I turned towards the truck to see the boy from the store once again "Yes" I said looking at him through the window .
"Can I please give you a ride it's raining to hard for you to be out here walking "he said sincerely.
" I don't even know your name I am not getting in your truck" I said continuing to walk.
" My name is Xavier Damarcus Wright" I heard him say
"I still don't know you,you might try and kidnap me "I laughed
"If I wanted to kidnap you I would've took you by now instead of begging you to get in this car "he said laughing.
"No thank you, Xavier" I said
"I'm not leaving until you get in matter of fact I'll walk with you" he stopped the car and got out walking beside me
" Please get in I'll take you straight home" he said and poked out his beautiful lips.
"Whatever "I laughed
"Straight home I said looking him in his eyes
" I promise" he said in the cutest voice ever.
We walked to his truck and got in and gave him directions to my apartment.
"Why are you being so nice to me " I asked
" I wouldn't be a real nigga if I left my girl ...I mean a girl in the rain"he said laughing
I laughed too catching what he said "Your girl huh" I said looking at him out the corner of my eye
Xavier looked at me and smiled "You caught that huh"
'Yeah I did" I said smiling and looking out the window
"Well" he said looking in my eyes while at a red light.
"I was taught to go after what I like and I like you alot." He said still looking at me.
Wow I was speechless he likes me.
Good thing we were pulling in my apartment complex because I didn't know what to say back.
"I stay in section C . Make a right at the sign up there" I said pointing
"Alright" Xavier said as he turned the corner.
We pulled in front of my rundown apartment I was so embarrassed I wish I would have got dropped off at the corner.
"Well I guess I'll see you around" I said as I grabbed the door handle
"Waittt" he said gently grabbing my arms giving me butterflies
"Yes" I said not wanting him to move his arm.
"Can I get your number ? I wanna get to know you, take you out, and treat you right "he said laughing realizing how corny he sounded.
I just start laughing
"I'm pouring my heart out and you laughing girl. I ain't never tried this hard in my life to get a girl but it's okay if you don't give me your number I'll just sit in Chillis everyday just so you gotta talk to me."He said smiling
"I don't know if your girl would want you calling me" I said rolling my eyes
"My girl??" He asked confused
"Yeah the girl you was with at my job"I said looking at him.
"Ohhh no that's not my girl I just met her today my boy called up his girl she brought a friend he called me.....wait you like me too " he said stopping mid sentence to smile his beautiful smile
I started blushing "No I was just...uhm...No" I said stuttering
"It's OK Xavier tends to have that effect on women" he said sounding just like Rashad off ATL
I bust out laughing
"I love that movie" I said
"I do too maybe we can watch it together someday"he said hopefully
"Maybe but in the meantime here's my number" I said as I grabbed his phone out the cup holder
He smiled
"Bye Xavier" I said opening the door.
"Bye bae" he said licking his lips
I just shock my head he is a mess. I knew he was watching me so I put a little extra switch in my walk.
"Down boy down" I heard him joke I just turn around and laughed.
Xavier POV
She gone be mines just wait ima have to get her back for walking all hard she know her ass big as fuck. I know she know I was looking.
Damn! I'm bout take my ass home and think about how ima make her mines.
