My smile hides my tears,
My laugh hides my pain,
Going through depression,
I'm mentally insane.
Gave up on hope,
Gave up on my dreams,
Crying, breaking,
Silencing my screams.
Lying to everyone,
When I say I'm fine,
No one can see,
That I'm really lying.
I want to find someone,
Who will understand,
Wipe away my tears,
And grab my hand.
Interlock fingers,
Look into my eyes,
And whisper the words,
Please stop your cries.
Who will honestly tell me,
That I will be missed,
I want to find someone,
That doesn't exist.
