Hey,

it's been awhile,

I still remember you,

and your fake smile.

I wish you could have told me,

Everything that hurt you inside,

But even through everything,

My feelings for you have not died.

They're strong just like you,

And I'm not giving up now,

I will find a way to your heart,

I will find out how.

I promise you, if I have your heart,

I won't let anything break it,

A single crack won't be there,

And in no loving moment will I fake it.

You have my heart, yet yearn for yours,

I'll be patient, for as long as you need,

I promise you, I'll be by your side,

I'll follow as you lead.

I won't care if you reject my feelings,

And tell me to stay away,

Because whatever you do to me,

I will never leave, I'll stay.

Call me desperate, call me crazy,

I don't care because for you I'll fight,

Because to every lonely darkness,

There will always be a shining light.

So don't forget the words you hear,

May they last in your memories,

And every time I look at you,

Time always seems to freeze.

Anything that happens,

And whatever you may do,

Just know even in the darkest times,

I love you.
