Petrifying silence,

Staring eyes,

Public speaking,

Isn't as easy as pie.

There's rolling eyes in front,

Coughing at the back,

Giggles in the center,

It's courage that I lack.

I can't do it, I can't do it,

I'm screaming in my head,

I'm a fool, I'm just weak,

I'm better off when I'm dead.

I'm frozen on the spot,

Pale and sweating,

All the lines I memorized,

I'm slowly forgetting.

I'm getting close to the end,

Of this poem, I mean,

Just two more words,

End scene.
