Chapter 9

I was walking to the dining hall for dinner when mel caught up to me.

"Waaaaaaaaaandaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" She yelled to me.

I turned around. "What Mel?"

She smiled and said, "Ian wants to see you in the East field."

I nodded and walked towards the fields.

When I got there I saw that Ian had set up a little picnic for us.

"Hey Wanda." He said when I sat down beside him.

"What's this all for?" I asked, looking around in wonder.

"You. Thank you for saving me from...society I guess." He said while chuckling.

I smiled.

After we ate all the food, well, after Ian ate most of the food while I took dainty bites, he took my hand and turned on some music.

"Will you dance with me Wanda?" He asked in his brilliant deep voice that will make any women swoon.

I blushed. "You know I can't dance Ian."

"Don't worry."

He picked me up slightly and put me back down, with me standing on his feet.

He spun us in circles for a while before breaking away.

He got down on one knee.

"Oh my gosh..." I mumbled.

"Wanda, Wanderer, I love you with all my heart. I want to spend forever and always with you. I want to go to infinity and beyond with you. If we ever are apart, all I do is think about you. So, would you do me the extrodinarily honor of being not just Wanda, but Wanda O'Shea? Will you marry me?"

He plucked out a velvet box and opened it. Inside is a teal colored crystal on a small gold band that had small intricate details of tiny swirls on it.

I smiled and with one hand, closed the top of the ring box gently.

I looked back at him and saw his face fall.

"I do. But I don't need a ring to say that I love you forever. I only need you and my heart to tell you that. I, Wanda the soul, love you, Ian O'shea, forever and always. So yes. I will marry you." I smiled brightly.

His smiled returned and he picked me up and spun me around. He opened the ring box and delicately slid the ring on my finger.

I stood the highest I can and I placed a kiss on his lips.

"I love you Ian." I mumbled against his lips.

"I love you too my Wanderer."
