When she thought she was being treated as something fragile at school, things are much worse at home. Ouji and Saki were both fretting about her from head to toe. Saki was checking her bandaged arm and asking Utau if there is anything she needed and while Ouji scorned over the fact that even the so well re-known high class school in Japan can't even get their security in check to the point that a student was injured and the culprit has not been captured yet.

"You two need to calm down. I'm perfectly fine."

"In what aspect are you 'perfectly fine'? You've been attacked in the school compound and you said it yourself that the attacker was a student and she was trying to take your life!" she was freaking out yet again at Utau's lack of concern. But her husband was the one that patted her on the back giving her the look that says that it might be best if they drop the topic for a while and actually give Utau the room for her to breath.

"Thank you Ouji. I'll be in that room if you ever need me." usually Saki or Ouji would stopped her simply because they know how much misery and longing Utau would feel whenever she stepped into her sister's former bedroom but looking at how the circumstances play out, there is not much that can be said that would make the young girl feel better and at ease other than letting her to do things that she pleases.

The room was never locked actually. It's just the Master and the Lady forbid anyone from entering the room and the only one that was given the permission to actually step inside that room was none other than Saki which is only for cleaning purposes which is done only once a week. Of course Utau too was forbade from entering the room but at times, she does sneaks in to the room with sky blue walls and mellow decorations just to have a hinge that her sister is still around. And also to ease her worries whenever she was feeling down.

Multiple times Saki would scold her for doing so because not only she went against the Master's orders, but whenever the youngest Sakazaki stepped into the room, she would return being depressed afterwards. Never did she ever come out of that room feeling giddy or happy. How can she when she was reminded with the overflowing memories of her wonderful sister that was brutally murdered in an attempt to save her little sister?

Even the memory of what had happened in that room alone is depressing enough. Not to mention other sweet memories that were stored in that room but now it stores nothing but sad memories in them.

"Yui-nee..." words cannot be used to describe how much she wanted to burst into tears right then and there and the fact that she wanted nothing more but having her older sister there to comfort her is just frustrating and devastating.

Things have been much complicated than she had thought. Things are getting way more complicated when she transferred to Ouran. Her parents' decision of sending her back to Japan was probably for the worst. Her years in France were way more peaceful even if there were times where she longed to play the grand piano that the family owned and there were also times where she missed the house that she actually grew up in.

But being in France where she had Renge, Saki and Ouji with her at all times were enjoyable and peaceful enough until the point that the thought of her sister did not hurt as much as the first time around. She was barely holding things up until now but with the sudden attack, the matter with Kyoya Ootori and also the fact she was actually in the house where everything that scarred her mentally and physically are so very vivid area actually making things worse.

Now that she thought about it... Kyoya Ootori. He was someone from her past. She is sure of it. Even if she can't exactly remember what part he played in her life before this but she is almost sure that he was an important piece in her life before all of those things happened but no matter how hard she tried to think about how he was involved in her life matters, nothing came up.

Nothing other than the figure of a young boy's back who looks quite dejected for leaving. That was it. That was the by far the furthest thing she could remember. Unless...

At the sudden idea, Utau jolted from the bed and head towards Yui's study table. Grabbing a large leather bound book with the number 7 on the spine of the book. She flipped it open. In there were tons of photographs when Utau was a little toddler and there are some of the pictures that has their parents in it but mostly it was filled Utau's photos. After all, the next thing that interests Yui other than piano was photography and basically that album can be used to document Utau's childhood.

Most of the photos are basically Utau's but it wasn't until she got to the middle of the album did a new face finally made an appearance. A young boy, with a long-sleeved blue shirt, crisp white shorts, wearing glasses was smiling happily next to young Utau as the two toddlers splashed water towards the camera.

She have viewed this picture maybe multiple times before she left for France years ago but then nothing came into mind. But now, after all that she had been through, she finally realized that the boy was indeed Kyoya Ootori.

Now finally she understood when he said those words in the first place.

"I knew you more than you ever thought I do."

He was part of her long forgotten past. The past in which she had tried to get rid of and eventually managed to do it and maintained that cluelessness for years but now that the truth have been laid upon her... she cannot deny it anymore.

Memories came rushing back to her head. Both the painful ones and also the sweet and beautiful ones.

She never did realize that those beady pearls of tears as she reminisced of the past that she chose to erased before.

"Kyo-chan."
