"It took you quite a while to get things together Utau." he said teasingly and Utau though knowing full well that is quite true as it is her fault for erasing things in her head for so long, still cannot withstand herself from rolling her eyes in annoyance at the male.

"The idiot one here was you. Why didn't you tell me anything in the first place?"

"So I would be the one that will make you remember one of the most painful period of your life?" that shut Utau up then and there. True enough, if he told her what actually had happened, if he told her about her forgotten past, she would not be able to handle it then.

"Thanks." Grudgingly she muttered. Kyouya smiled. Actually smiled. Not the usual snicker or smirk that is usually associated with the bespectacled host but an actual sincere smile. The room was engulfed with silence but unlike usual, it was not one of those awkward ones. For the first ever since she transferred to the school and actually met the bespectacled guy, it was the first time ever that the silence was actually comforting.

To know that either one of them was in the same room was just enough.

"I think it is about time to let them back in don't you think?"

"Oh right. The idiots. I almost forgot that they are still out those doors." The two exchanged looks in which that itself was enough to say everything that is needed to be said. They have a whole lot more time to talk to one another but for now, duty calls.

As Kyouya went for the double doors, Utau took her usual place; the grand piano. Once she took her seat and Kyouya opened the door, all 6 of the hosts including Haruhi even fell flat onto the floor. Turns out they had been leaning towards the double doors since the moment they had been locked out of the Music Room.

"Really Haruhi? Really?" Utau asked as she lifted her right eyebrow, questioning the girl. Haruhi who suddenly looked flustered choose to look away from the pianist. Honestly she too felt quite ashamed to be captured in action especially when such action was due to some senior that she herself had deemed stupid and careless. In other words, she actually listened to the flamboyant Tamaki Suoh. She surely had lost her mind due to the curiosity.

"So..." Kaoru began.

"Anyone care-" Hikaru intercepted before the two of them chorused to finish the sentence together as the always do. "To actually tell us what had happened in here just now?" and as per usual, none of the two that occupied the room just now care to even explain anything to any one of the hosts.

Before any one of the could roast either Utau or Kyouya more regarding the matter between the two of them, murmurs of the female students that were heading towards the room was enough to pipe them all down but it was Honey-senpai who broke down the silence and spoke up. "Come on Takashi, let's go and play!" that itself was enough to distract the rest to take their respective places for the usual club activities.

But Tamaki was not having any of that without him being given the explanation that he needed. And he was going to get the explanation that he wanted. Apparently being forced to be friends for years had brought him to know what is within the head of the blonde Suoh and he knew sooner or later the boy is going to pester him the life out of him in order to get the answer that he wanted. But as for now, for now he has much important things to be taken care of.

He had lost her once and there was no way he is going to let that happen for the second time. Not when this time around he actually has the power to make sure that she is safe and sound. He looked over to the young pianist who was smiling from one end to another. The first in quite some time he had ever seen her as such.

He is going to protect that smile. Even if that may cost him his life.

"So... I heard from Haruhi. And the twins. And Hani-senpai. As well as Mori-senpai. Oh, and Tamaki-senpai as well." Though it surprised her a little when she heard Mori-senpai had actually showed some interest with her matters, yet to think that all of them turned to her best friend which Utau herself had to admit is pretty cuckoo in the head, she could just snicker. Honestly the host club members are honestly too nosy with her business for their own good.

"They need to keep out of my skirts. For god's sake." Renge smirked when she heard that from Utau.

"You are enjoying this and don't even try to hide this. You actually like having such attention don't you?"

"Alright, fine. I'm not actually hating this. But-"

"Utau." Renge interrupted the girl before she could proceed even further. "You don't have to tell me about the details of every single thing about it if you don't want to. I won't force you to. But just tell me this. Just one thing that I want you to tell me honestly." two pair of orbs met that spoke millions of words that their lips did not even utter.

"You're happy aren't you?"

"Yes." she whispered. "Yes I am."

Renge smiled at the answer. "And that, that is enough for me."  she said before she pulled her best friend into her arms in which Utau gladly obliged to without a word of protest.

He knew Tamaki would be pursuing the answers for his questions as keen as possible but even if her wanted to spare himself of the misery of being pestered by the blonde Suoh, he had other matters that needs to be taken care off most immediately.

The most elite of the elites in the police forced that he had entrusted with the task had been deployed on the investigation. Regardless of how much the perpetrator would like to keep herself hidden within the shadows and out of reach, there was no way Kyoya is ever going to let her achieve her goal.

It was him being reckless to think that just by Utau being within the gates of Ouran she would be perfectly safe from harm and he was not about to commit to the same mistake of taking things lightly once again.

Especially not when the situation had come to the young Sakazaki regaining her memories back. He will protect her at all cost. Even if it means that he would be sacrificing his time, sleep and energy. For the girl that he had set his heart on since the day she smiled to him earnestly in the Sakazaki's flower garden, he would even give her life to ensure her safety.

He was powerless the first time but this time around he has all the resources and the forces that he can deploy on his own command. And he is going to make perfect use of it.
