Utau knew she had it coming when she set foot into Ouran's compound only to find that she is has now become the centre of attention of the entire student body. Despite Ouji and Saki's desperate pleas about her taking a few days off school proves to be futile as she ignored those pleas and insisted that she was perfectly fine to attend school.

Since the cut that she received was not that deep, it was getting quite better as Saki came to her room every 2 hours just to disinfect and change her dressing. Though she had to admit she has yet to recover fully from the attack, but there are more pressing matter at hand that needs her attention and that particular matter is something that can only be attended to at school.

Renge jumped at the sight of her. Fretting over the fact that she was still not in perfect shape to attend school and Ryu was on the French girl's side as he too frowned when Utau took her seat in class.

"You know you should have stayed at home a few more days."

"It's not like you are going to miss much anyway."

"You are always so stubborn Utau."

"Honestly are you even listening to either one of us right now?"

The raven head sighed as she stared into the 2 pair of orbs; one mirrored her annoyance and as well as concern while another set of eyes was just furious to see the way how undisturbed Utau seem despite that just yesterday her life was literally on the line.

"You do know that you being at school after what had happened yesterday is going to give you more trouble. Whoever was the one that aimed for your life might choose to finish their job this time around! Are you being oblivious or have you actually gone nutters?" somehow, Utau only looked at the guy in amusement.

"Never knew you had that in you Ryu. Renge is as much as surprised as I am. See." True enough to her words, the brunette was also looking quite surprised by the sudden outburst. Usually the one that yells is either Utau of Renge herself. To see that the situation had tipped is quite absurd to be honest.

"This is not the time to make any more jokes Utau." Ryusuke growled in frustration. At this Utau smiled as she reached for both of Renge's and Ryusuke's hand. Squeezing them tightly as if trying to convey that everything would be just fine.

No words are needed between the three. That gesture alone is enough to speak volumes. Though they indeed wanted to say more, they both knew that there was no use of doing so and maybe Utau is right after all, they are worrying too much.

A few minutes later their homeroom teacher finally entered the classroom forcing the two to go back to their seats as he started to take the attendance and after that was done, the class starts and though it is something that Utau refuse to admit, she was in fact not paying the slightest attention throughout the entire lesson.

Her head droned over the fact who in their right mind would think of actually assassinating her in the school compound where hundreds of eyes would be watching. And why do they think it was wise to attack her in such fashion. Who are they and what they hope to achieve if the attack that day really did manage to take her life?

Perhaps there was something from her past that she did that angered some parties? But why now? Why here? There has got to be something that triggered them to act as such. But even if she did something in her past... there are so little thing that she can recall. Her past are mostly bloodied up with the memory of Yui-nee being murdered in front of her very eyes. Honestly thinking about it only makes things worse to be frank.

Kyoya Ootori.

That one name however stirred her emotions. Longing for his comfort and warmth and pure anger for the fact that he had said nothing about their past even when Utau had been by his side since the school started. Those emotions however changed into guilt. After all she was the one that had forgotten things. She was the one that had forgotten about him. She came back to Japan. Got into Ouran and even at the first sight of him, she annoyed the hell out of him.

Oh god how much of a hassle that he had to put up with her all of these time without saying anything about their past. Did he know that she had forgotten everything? Or he just did not say anything out of spite?

Honestly, with everything is going on, her jumping off a cliff might be better than being in that position right now. Her life is so messed up.

Once the academic session was finally over, she spoke to Renge and Ryusuko for a while telling them that she has something that she needed to take care off and without waiting for them to say their piece, she rushed to the Host Clubroom noting that Haruhi most probably will already be there and so does the rest of the hosts. Probably getting ready for their daily theme.

True enough, when she got to the club room, only a few of them was already dressed in their uniform for the day and apparently today's theme happens to be butlers. Almost every single host was surprised to see her there.

Tamaki was about to say something tacky as always but he stopped when he saw the glare that Utau directed solely for the vice-president of the club. It seems that all of them could see the icy glare filled with murderous intent that Utau flashed towards the bespectacled host.

Without having the need to be told off by Utau, quietly one by one exited the club room, in hope of avoiding the chaos that was about to ensue soon by the look of the situation.

The one in question however looked as calm as always with that smirk of his that throw off Utau even more.

"How can I help you Miss Sakazaki?"

"You've done enough!"

"I'm pretty sure that I'm not following you here Miss Sakazaki." The way he called her. So formal, so detached of emotion. It hurts her more to listen to that.

"You foul, loathsome, evil, manipulating, four-eyes!" she was trying very hard not to blow up in an instant but apparently the host seem to think that this is just another episode of her hatred towards his as he turned his back to his and was about to walk away.

She caught him before he could take another step away from her. Gripping hard onto his tailcoat, her emotions got the better of her as she can feel the pearls starting to drip from her eyes.

"What is it this time Miss-" he was cut off when he heard her wavering voice calling out to her.

"Kyo-chan..."
