Chapter 4 : We all have something to Hide

"Good job Haruhi-kun. On the count of 3, take it slow and bring your feet together. The gentleman always lead so make sure to look at the girl you are dancing with." While Haruhi was practicing with Kasuga-san, me on the other hand was stuck into piano duties which didn't bother me at all. I was glad even. That only means my dancing lesson on the other hand to be delayed it made me much more contented than ever.

Soon after, I got lost into the song and if it wasn't for Hikaru and Kaoru who pinched both sides of my cheeks, I would still be indulged in my own little world.

"You idiotic twins! What did you think you two were doing? That really hurts!" both of my hands soon worked their way into the twins' forehead and... FLICK!

"Now you both get the taste of your own medicine. Serves both of you right!" the twins were still hissing in pain after a great flick that they both received from me. That is what they get when they mess around with me.

"That hurts Utau. We did that to inform you-" Hikaru started as Kaoru finished the sentence.

"-that you can get out from your hiding now. Kasuga-hime already left and there is no one left in the club room."

"Except the hosts. So you can come out now." Said the twins in perfect harmony.

"Anyhow, Utau its finally time for your dance lesson. Its-"

"-time for you to receive the punishment for what you have done to us..."

"U-ta-u-san..." now I am starting to regret flicking the twins just now. The evil glints in their eyes totally tell me that I am going to have my dance lesson from two tutors from hell! And when it began, it was a hate-love situation for me.

I kind of hate it since well, I had to dance and the fact that Hikaru is the one being the practical tutor, it only made it worst. Instead of telling me the steps that I got wrong, he flick me in the head whenever I did the steps wrong (he is out for revenge. I am a hundred percent sure about that). As for it for the love part, it appears that I love my two uncoordinated left feet after all! I never thought that the day where I will love them would ever come.

Well, since Hikaru is practically a complete bother and a nuisance I kind of stepped onto his feet maybe a trillion times or so. I lost count. You can consider that I did that as a payback for what he did.

"Hey. You totally did that on purpose Utau!" whining, Hikaru looked up with a dissatisfied expression on his face, he told me and the only response that I gave him was a smirk.

"No one. I repeat, no one would ever get away when they hit me on purpose. No one except for Yu-" the words stopped there before I say the name that I meant to say just now out loud. In the end, the memories were too much for me to handle yet.

"Oi, Utau. You didn't finish your words just now. I was certain that you were about to say a person's name. Right Kaoru?" I only heard a 'hmm' from Kaoru and I knew his eyes were still on me. This is bad. Of all people, these people in this club cannot know about the past. They cannot know.

Good thing the club's president decide to break the silence and fortunately he got everyone's attention on him. That would be the first time ever I was thankful towards Tamaki. Next thing I knew, every host was putting their attention to Tamaki. Without even sparing a glance to the group, I dashed out of the clubroom after grabbing my school bag.

The second I was finally away from the clubroom, I began biting onto her lower lips. A habit of mine that I was unable to get rid of even if I tried.

You were so close of saying her name out loud Utau. This cannot do, you can't get too comfortable with them until you can just blurt out nonsense in front of them. Get yourself together!
