Josh's POV: (what do you think of having POV in this book? Yay or nay?)
"So, what do you think of Kaya?" I asks my parents as I let Kaya chill in bed whilst I took care of Stella. "She's lovely Joshua. I was a little unsure because she had a child but she's brilliant, I'm so glad you're finally happy." My mum smiles at me. "Thanks mum, dad what you thinking?" I ask more nervous if his response. "I don't like her. She's too, fake." He relies carrying on cleaning dishes. "What do you mean fake? She's the realist person I've ever met." I defend. My dad can really be an asshole, especially to my little sister, Penelope. "Just you wait Josh. You'll see through her bullshit eventually, you always do." He says calmly shooting daggers with eyes at my mum. She looks down and pretends to be busy and I'm left confused. "I'll wait. Then I'll ask her to marry me, we'll get married and have more children. She's not fake like Freya was dad. I'm actually happy." I try my hardest to defend Kaya. "She has a kid Josh. A kid that's not yours, what does that say about her?" "Nothing, that says absolutely nothing. Stella's father died whilst Kay was pregnant dad. It says nothing." I shake my head sitting down to feed Stella her breakfast. "So you're just a void filler? For her heart and the father figure for that baby?" "No, that's so wrong. 'That baby' is my daughter, I'm adopting her, legally." I say, proud to call Stell my daughter. "Worst mistake you'll ever make. She'll drop you, as soon as she is stable from everything. You'll see." "Whatever." I roll my eyes and take Stella into the living room to play with Penny. I make some bacon sandwiches and take them up for Kaya and I to eat. "Breakfast in bed gorgeous." I smile walking in with coffees and the sandwiches. "Ooo, thanks bubba." She smiles back planting a kiss on my cheek. "I heard you and your dad. It's fine, thank you for sticking up for me." Kaya says after a couple of bites. "Of course, I won't let him talk about you like that." I reply taking her hand in mine and kissing it.
