Chapter 12:
It Wasn't Her

I stood there frozen for a second, thinking what the actual fuck.

The wolf slowly walked over to me, as if not to scare me. I wasn't scared, I was in shock that werewolves existed. It rubbed its gigantic head on my hip, nudging me and whining. I tried to take a step back but my back bumped into something. I turned my head to see Eric looking down at me with a blank face. I turned away, looking back towards the wolf, except he wasn't there, Alex was.

"I know, it's scary and shocking. But please don't freak out. I'm a werewolf too, but I'm still the old Alex, haven't changed a bit," Alex said gripping my shoulders, probably thinking that would calm me down.

I wasn't freaking out though, I was just trying to wrap my head around a human turning into an oversized dog. How is it physically possible?

Alex moved to the side when Xavier, who was dressed in his clothes, walked towards me.

"Look, half of the town are werewolves like I said before, your brother is one too. Your mother is not, she is human," he said looking down at me.

My brother is one?

"The reason I'm telling and showing you all this is that you're my soul mate, every werewolf has a mate. You're my other half, our souls were made to be combined, we were fated to each other. I'm sorry but you can't do anything about it."

"Actually she can reject-"

Alex started saying but Eric cut her right off.

"Shut it."

She pouted, turning away from Eric, giving him the cold shoulder.

So that crazy thought I had the first few days I got here was right? Xavier is the Alpha of a werewolf pack, and I'm the Alpha Female, the "Luna."

"Is this what you meant when you said you had a right to know? Because you're my 'mate'?"

"Yes," he said nodding his head, his face showed relief that I was understanding him.

"I still think you don't, now if you excuse me I have to eat lunch."

I walked away leaving them behind, thinking about how I was going to tell this to father.

I glared down at every single girl in the living room. They dared to not comply with such a simple command. They will now be receiving a punishment.

"Since you all seem not to listen, a punishment is very much needed."

"You can't punish us!"

Yelled one of the girls, having enough confidence to glare up at me.

"Yeah! We don't work for you!"

Yelled another, soon all were glaring at me and yelling.

I smirked at them, laughing mentally at their naiveness.

Enrique who was standing next to me pulled out his gun and shot it towards the ceiling. I knew it didn't have an actual bullet, it was just blanks. It allowed the gun to make the sound of a gunshot but nothing came out, just air. The girls jumped and some screamed, they all became quiet afterward.

"As I was saying, you will all be getting punishments. And yes, I am allowed to do this, I can do this. Why? Because you are in the fucken mafia whether you like it or not. Your parents brought you here, you will forever be tied to us. For fucken ever. I can do what I please with all of you."
