(UNEDITED ~ POINT OUT MISTAKES)
Chapter 20
EscapingI took a deep breath, being careful with my injuries as I thought about everything father taught me. He put me through situations similar to these so that when I was kidnapped, I would be able to survive.
He would lock me up in the dungeon after he had his men beat me up black and blue, all because I talked back. I would be in the dungeon for weeks, being feed once in a while.
After my failed attempt to escape, I woke up in the same basement. This time my legs and arms were chained to the wall. I could move but nowhere near the door which was on the other side of the room. There was nothing around me to unlock the cuffs around my ankles and wrists. I didn't know when they were coming back so I stayed sitting on the floor with my back leaning on the wall. I closed my eyes, began watching my breath, going into a meditation state.
***
I opened my eyes when I heard the basement door unlocking, I stayed sitting, not bothering to get up and waste energy. It's been almost a week since I've been chained to the wall. They would come in every day at 6 in the evening like clockwork. They wouldn't do anything other than check up on me before closing the door. I haven't had anything to drink or eat, I couldn't even go to the bathroom. I was grateful I wasn't anywhere near my period when I was kidnapped.
"Hmm, I'm surprised you have lasted so long little bunny," Arza chuckled.
I didn't bother to reply, only keeping my eyes on him and the other men who came in after him.
"Your father taught you well, but I'm afraid it wasn't good enough because look at you. You're trapped," he laughed.
I smiled at his words, looking up at him, he noticed my reaction and frowned in confusion.
"Am I really trapped?" I questioned.
He was a foot away from me, I kicked my foot out, kicking his legs from under him. He landed on his back, facing the door, away from me. I wrapped my legs around his chest, trapping his arms to his side. Then I grabbed a hold of his gun that was stuffed in his pants. I pushed the barrel against the side of his head, safety off, finger on the trigger.
I had to break my thumbs to slip my wrists from the chains but I couldn't take off the ones from my ankles.
The men who came in with hin reacted late for when I was in position they had barely reacted by pointing their guns at me. I breathed harshly, this position wasn't helping my injuries.
"I would be careful with those guns, don't want to accidentally snap into action," I chuckled.
Arza's body squirmed in my hold, I pushed the gun harshly against his head causing him to freeze.
"One shot in the head and you'll be dead before you have the chance to shoot me," Arza spat.
"Hmm, but do you really want to take that chance? We could both end up dead."
He huffed before speaking up, "the wolves."
I was confused but didn't loosen up my grip. I held in a gasp when I saw two huge wolves enter the room, I knew right away these were shifters. I would still be able to shoot Arza but will probably get bitten by the wolf.
"Now, now, now, don't move any closer unless you want him dead," I warned the two wolves.
"They don't understand what you're saying bitch, they are wolves," Arza spat.
