--Katherine's POV--

We both were standing there and just staring at one another. What should I do that I got to know his name? Squeal like a retarded squirrel? I don't think so.

"Um so?" Asher just stared at me like I was a wonder of the world. Big deal! So what if I didn't know his name?

"I still can't believe you didn't know my name! And we go to the same school!" Now he was overreacting. He's saying as if only was the only person alive on this planet who doesn't know his freaking name.

"Well believe it dude. I mean, are you some sort of royalty that I had to know your name?" I shook my head at him and made my way to the driver seat, when a hand stopped me from opening the door.

"Look here hot stuff, everybody knows me and when I came to know that you didn't, it just shocked me." I scoffed at his lame reason and rolled my eyes at him. Seriously who even does that?

I just ignored him and sat in my truck. Asher was giving me a weird look but that quickly changed into an arrogant smirk.

"What?" I can practically feel the deep scowl etching on my face. Yeah this dude is mega hot and all but his ego is even bigger than Jupiter! And of course his cockiness is a big turn off for ME.

"Listen here Asher. I'm not the kind of person who knows every single thing about people. I hardly pay any attention to them, plus researching about people like YOU is not my hobby. Good day."

I reversed my truck and zoomed out of the parkiing lot leaving an open mouth Asher behind. Why should his biography bother me? Its not like I'm gonna fall in love with that dweeb.

My mother had prepared spaghetti and meatballs, everyone's favorite. I gulped down my food and washed my plate and bolted upstairs to finish off some remaining homework. While completing my homework, my mind wandered off to that Asher guy. I just met him and he's already on my mind.

Those hypnotizing eyes were hard to forget. His arrogance made me want him, his smirk made me want to kiss him. You know what? I should really slap myself for thinking such absurd things! What if he's some gang leader or a rapist?

Shaking my head at those weird thoughts, I continued to scribble down the notes for History. By 10, I was all done with my notes and extra stuff. My stomach growled which made me groan in annoyance. I wasn't in the mood to go down and make myself a sandwich.

Begrudgingly I went downstairs to find my mom typing on her laptop furiously.

After making myself a PB&J sandwich, I went to sit down next to my mom. We don't talk that much but we make small talk.

"What's wrong? You seem tensed." Mom just shook her head and slumped back against the couch and sighed.

"Nothing honey. Just too much pressure with office." I nodded and awkwardly patted her shoulder and went back to my room to get some sleep as tomorrow is yet another crappy day of school.

~*~

School was going fine till that cocky meat head graced us with his cocky presence.

If you're too slow to understand what I mean then I'm talking about Asher Collins, the same guy who I met at the supermarket.

You'll be shocked to know that I never even knew he studies here and was a heartless player at Bradford High.

I got to know when I heard some girls crying in the washroom, saying how he broke their heart and blah blah.

To be honest I was able to tell he was a player dude by the way he was flashing his pearl white teeth and charm.

I was on my way to English Literature when an arm draped across my shoulder. The strong scent of cologne tickled my nose and I immediately knew who was with me.
