--Katherine's POV--

"Are you serious?" Those were the words that I managed to blurt out. Asher and I were still out and came to feed my stomach. And do you know where he brought us? That feces-stained plophill brought us to McDonalds! I was expecting something better than that.

"What? You don't like McDonalds?!" We were standing outside his car with my arms folded against my chest and a big scowl printed on my face. I narrowed my gaze at him and did the only thing which came to mind. I stuck my tongue at him which made him laugh like a drowning pig.

"Shut up! You're so immature."

"Oh c'mon Ms. grumpy pants, I'll be Burger King and you be McDonalds. I'll have it my way and you'll be lovin' it!" I laughed abnormally at his cheesy yet dorky pick up line.

We laughed and talked about mainly my father. I still don't know what I'm going to do about his mail or if I want to meet him, but I'll come up with something eventually. After laughing like an old woman who won a lottery, I finally agreed to go to McDonalds only because I was at the verge of dying. No pun intended.

"One double cheeseburger with an upsize Pepsi and for my girlfriend here...""

I looked up from the menu and saw that Asher was waiting for me to make my order. "Oh yes. Um, I'll have a spicy McChicken. Just the sandwich." The cashier typed in our orders and told us to wait ten minutes. Asher walked to a booth which was kind of in the corner, why is he being shadowy? Ugh, stupid him!

"So..?"

Our food arrived and as soon as the tray hit the table, that cockadoodle poop dived in his food making me scowl at his manners. I didn't even start my own meal because the way he was devouring the food was like he was eating his last meal.

"What?" He spoke after gulping down his bite. I scowled and unwrapped my burger and took a small bite.

"What are you even doing here?" He looked at me confused. I rolled my eyes at him. How can I forget that I'm dating a tube light!

"What do you mean?"

"I meant, what are you doing here? Did someone leave your cage open?" Comprehension dawned at him and he gave me a flat look. I snickered lightly at his stupid disarranged face and continued munching on my burger.

Soon we finished eating and left. The drive back was silent as I was getting drowsy and tired. Asher laced our fingers together and squeezed my hand while gripping the steering wheel with his other hand. The feeling of our hands interlaced was indescribable. Soon his house came in view and I felt him park the car in his driveway.

We got out of the car and he tagged along walking me to the door. I stopped at the door and turned around to find him already looking at me with serious eyes.

I couldn't control my uncontrollable tongue and blurted, "Your face looks like you're holding in a really big burp or fart."

That seemed to snap him out of his serious dazed world and look at me with wide eyes. "Don't ever, I mean ever say something like that again."

"Why? Did you visualize yourself doing any one of them?" I asked with a snickering voice. He narrowed his eyes at me and immaturely stuck his tongue at me. I rolled my eyes at him and proceeded to unlock the door. When it unlocked, I was pulled back into a solid, warm chest. Asher rested his head on my shoulder and rocked us side to side.

My head was resting on his chest and I enjoyed the warm feeling he gave me. Sometimes he's so warm and cuddly and sometimes he's so cold like Atlantic Ocean. Some people are hard to read and this ogre is one of them.
