My beautiful boy was growing so much. He had put on quite a bit of weight then lost some as he had a nasty bout of the flu poor wee bugger. We'd settled in our new home and I must say the air in Cheshire was a lot nicer than in London. H would commute back and forth when he needed to sometimes staying at Spaniards Rd but very seldom as he couldn't be away from his babies long. He was such an amazing Daddy and spoiled his children rotten. Showering them in love, his precious time and of course some little treats here and there. The latest purchase was a massive big cubby house. Melie was on the go constantly and it was hard to keep track of her whilst Jack was just a cuddly smiley boy who loved his sister and would giggle when Melie did something silly. She'd pull funny faces or dance or something funny and Jack would just dissolve into fits of giggles.
It was a busy day for us today - Jacks Christening Day. We were running round trying to get everything and one organised. Gemmy and Michael had come up the previous day to stay with us and were looking after Melie which meant I could concentrate on Jack. H was great giving him a bath then changing him and getting him ready in his wee outfit. H as always looking like a bloody model in his YSL pin striped suit. It took all my strength not to strip him and take him right then and there. I'd opted for a Diane Von Verstenberg maxi dress, understated but still elegant. Green wasn't usually a colour I went for but I decided to be different as it was a special occasion.

I headed downstairs to check on Melie. Gemma and Michael were doing a great job of keeping her entertained. Michael had crawled into the cubby house and they were currently having tea and cake. Gemmy had managed to get Melie dressed and she looked so damn cute in her little Navy YSL Dress with a red sash. She was a slave to fashion just like her Daddy and some random magazine had dubbed her "the most Stylish toddler ever". I mean for goodness sake she wasn't even 18 months old!! It made me laugh. She was just our Melie, a cheeky little mischief maker with a smile that would melt even the darkest heart. She knew how to charm the birds from the trees that one, just like her Daddy.
I heard them before I saw them. The rowdy boys who were so much part of our lives. Nialler and Payno where first and of course my lovely Cheryl. "Where's my gorgeous god daughter then aye Melie Moo where are you". I'd never seen her run so fast as when she heard Niall. She ran past me and straight into his arms. "Helloooo poppet missed you". He was then covered in sloppy kisses. "Hey don't forget me missy, cuddles for me too". Niall then passed her onto Liam who blew raspberries on her cheeks and gave her loves. Whilst Melie gave Liam kisses back. When Harry and I had sat down to discuss who Melie's godparents were going to be there was no question who it would be. Niall and Liam, the only choice. When we asked them both they were so over come it was quite sweet. Niall crying and Liam getting all worked up as well. When Jack was born of course there was no doubt that Louise and Louis would be Jack's godparents. They were next to arrive. Lou with Tom and Luxy and Louis with Dani and Freddie.
H had come downstairs with our wee guy then. Greeting his brothers with warm hugs and back slaps. "Hello precious" Louise cooed at Jack, "my beautiful boy". H passed him over so Lou could hold her Godson. She hadn't seen him in a while and she couldn't get over how big he'd grown. "Come on Teasdale, share the love here". Louis wanted a cuddle as well. "Allo my lad, you're gonna be a great Football player one day yeah". Just as when Melie was born Lou and Dani had a Donny Rovers Kit made for Jack as well. I'd sent Lou a pic of him wearing it about a week ago, then promptly got a Facetime call from Lou beaming. H picked up Freddie giving his Godson a big cuddle which Freddie loved. "Uncle Harrwy you're sooo silly". "So are you kiddo he replied, you want to come outside and play with Melie and Jack"? "Yeah" he replied, "can we go on the swings"? "Course we can little man, come on let's go". I watched them all walk out side. Jack safely in H's arms with Melie holding one hand and Freddy walking beside. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen, the tears forming in my eyes with the love I felt for him. Louise looked at me then with a twinkle in her eye. "You've got an amazing one there babes and my god does he love you and the kids". I had to smile then. "I'm the luckiest girl in the world Lou and I thank god every day for that night in Vegas, found my soulmate, my lover, my best friend, won't ever take that for granted and all we have".
Harry's POV - Same Day
My son's Christening Day. Incredibly special. My brothers here with me, sharing this day. I'd taken Melie, Jack and Freddo outside to play on the swings then the trampoline. I was in my suit and couldn't really bounce but I still enjoyed being with my munchkins. Luxy came to join us as well. I was loving being outside with the kids, laughing, playing. I glanced down at my watch and realised it was getting on time to head to the Church. Mum came outside to get me and round up the kids. Mum took Jack, I took Melie and Luxy whilst Freddo followed us inside to get ready to get into the cars that were waiting for us.
Everyone was meeting us at the Church and it was pretty much just family at our house. Sally, Matt, Ty, Sez, Me, Jack, Melie, Dad, Mum, Robin, Jo, Gemmy and Mike went in one car. Louis, Dani, Freddie, Liam, Cheryl, Niall, Louise, Tom and Lux went in the other car. The Church wasn't too far from our place, about twenty or so minutes. We pulled up to a flurry of bloody paps snapping pictures of the cars trying to get the money shot Jack and Melie. I wasn't pleased. I was bloody furious at the intrusion of my families privacy. We quickly got ourselves organised whilst the paps shouted out our names "Sarah, Harry, over here, Louis are you looking forward to godfather duties?" "Just fuck off would ya, fucking vultures, this is a private celebration". My sassy brother, I bloody loved when he lost his shit at paps like that. "Sorry Haz I wish they'd just fuck off, hate this fucking shit". "I know Lou, I know mate, so do I".
We all headed inside the church then leaving the paps in our wake and my security guys to make sure they dispersed. I didn't want them coming back to the house later. We'd had to put extra security measures in at the house. We had massive electric gates and a guard on duty pretty much 24/7 since we moved to Cheshire. Sez had caught some random paps trying to scale our fence and get pics of Melie and Jack. I'd given my security team a bollocking as I couldn't believe that they had let that happen. I hated that my children were such "hot property" and I couldn't do a bloody thing about it.
The Church was full of our closest friends and family and it was wonderful. We made our way up to the front of the Church, taking up the first few pews. The Minister motioned for Sez and I to the front by the Baptismal Font with Jack and asked that Louise and Louis also join us as they were the Godparents. It was a short service. Jack cried a little as the water touched his little head but was then soothed by Sez as we had pictures taken with Louise and Louis. We stayed at the Church for a little while then all headed back to our place where the Caterers had set up the Marquee for our guests. We enjoyed some delicious food and lovely wine as we mingled with our nearest and dearest. I'd hired a bouncy castle for the kids and they loved it. Tommo, Payno Nialler and I even snuck out and had a bounce, in suits and all. Reminded us of when we were all 16, 17 and 18. Stupid dumb fun but bloody brilliant. We were tired and stopped bouncing to catch our breaths, enjoying a Whisky and reminiscing about old times. So much had happened in our lives and we'd shared so many amazing things together. I was extremely thankful for my brothers my best friends who I grew up with. We'd experienced so much together seen girls come and go, watched as we'd forged our own careers, married, had children and we'd done it all together. "A toast lads" Lou announced. "What are we toasting then Tommo" I asked. "Brother hood and some of the best times of our lives". "Well fuck, who knew you'd become such a soppy bugger in your old age then aye Tommo" Nialler replied. We all raised our glasses then. "To brotherhood, cheers lads". We clunked our glasses together, knowing that we were indeed some of the luckiest men in the world.
