ANA'S POINT OF VIEW

My mind was blank. I was floating in an ever-ending darkness, the world spinning around me. I saw Steven standing, and I reached forward, but he simply disintegrated into small particles with a sympathetic smile. My parents appeared, holding out their hands to me with wide grins, and I reached forward desperately, my eyes glassy. But then I was yanked back, and I grunted in pain as something from inside my body rocked through me, sending me tumbling onto the invisible floor around me. Gentle whispers floated to my ears, and Steven's sweet and calm voice echoed around the desolate prison where I was held.

The invisible bonds around my body were tight and tightened every time I tried to move, and life and death were right in between reach, I just had to choose which way to go.

                      Then the bonds broke.

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

The Eye of Agamotto shone brightly around Steven's neck, whose arms were held out in front of him, a determined look lurking in his eyes as his heart quickened, his hand trained towards Ana, who laid peacefully in a neverending sleep. Moving his shaking hands, he opened the Eye with a click, the green light illuminating the room as he smirked triumphantly, inhaling sharply as the emerald spirals wound up his arm, the mystic symbols moving around like a car stuck in a roundabout. Inhaling sharply, he felt the magnetic energy cling to him, move through him throughout his blood like a part of him, filling him up with something that sent him reeling, filled him with hope.

Sighing deeply, he slowly but determinedly let the magic flow from his fingers as he began to move his hand backwards, watching with an astonished gaze as the color returned to Ana's body, her blush skin and rosy cheeks and pink lips rejuvenating with life as the blood-soaked bandages wrapped around her torso became white again, unused as the wound dissipated from existence, and Steven stepped back, suddenly exhausted as he breathed heavily, eyes wide. He jumped when Ana's chest began to rise and fall, slowly, but then faster, and her hand twitched. Seizing the moment, Steven swallowed her hand in his, feeling the warmth that wasn't there before fill up inside their intertwined fingers.

" Ana?" he said quietly, his voice slightly quivering as he ran his thumb over her knuckles, which twitched more with life. Then her eyes fluttered open, her long lashes lifting from her cheeks as she turned to him with her chocolate eyes, and gave the most heart-whelming smile Steven had ever seen, her eyes devoid of the paleness before and full of life. Steven gasped for air as he grinned madly, wrapping his arms around her in a loving embrace, holding her close to him. Ana's eyes widened slowly before she slowly wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him close as she buried her face in the crook of his neck, feeling tears fall from his face and onto the back of her shirt as he laughed quietly, the sweet smell of raspberries and coffee that always drifted with Ana making him grin wider.

Ana pulled away, still smiling brightly as she stared at Steven with pure kindness, and Steven smirked softly, that strange fluttering hitting him again. " You kept your promise," she said quietly, her voice like silk as she smirked, tilting her head. Steven nodded quickly, cupping her face with his hands.

" I will never let you go again."
