Chapter Ten

A whole month went by and baby Majesty was starting to get some looks. She was beautiful. She wasn't a cry baby either so it was all good.

Cari adjusted to motherhood very well. She was on top of everything, the doctor appointments, the breastfeeding, everything. She was bouncing back slowly to her regular size.

Maverick had left Monica alone a little bit but he was still messing with some other girl. He treated Majesty like a princess though. He buys every "cute" thing he sees.

When Maverick would go out with one of his girls, Cari would let Eric come pick her and Majesty up.

Only thing bad that could happen at this point is really if somebody gets caught up.

Cari was home alone and this was one of those days she'd have Eric come pick her up.

"She looks just like me I think", Eric said when Cari put Majesty in the backseat of his car.

"Ya think?" Cari rolled her eyes.

Eric loved Majesty too! He loved her a lot. When he came and got them he'd hold her the whole time.

He drove to his new apartment that he had got. It was a one bedroom with a baby bassinet in it and a lot of baby stuff. You could tell he wanted to be a father so bad.

Mason wasn't aware of Majesty's arrivial and Cari wanted to keep it that way.

Eric had got a home DNA test. Cari agreed to let use it. She was kind of confident that it was Eric's baby, she had sex with him first! She had sex with him more!

He did the whole little process and they had to send it off the a lab. They said 5-11 buisness days before you'll recieve the results. They had no choice but to wait.

Eric kept holding Majesty and Cari just starred out the window. It felt a little strange here being with him. If it wasn't sex he and Cari didn't really see eachother. This wasn't sex though, Cari was still healing and she didn't plan on having sex with Eric again. She planned on being faithful to Maverick even though he wasn't faithful to her, little did she know.

"So if she's not yours then what?" Cari asked out of the blue.

"Then she's not mine and I won't come around anymore. But if she is I want parts in her life You don't have to tell Maverick but I want to see her as much as I want", Eric told her.

"Oh", Cari replied. She wasn't really paying attention though, she was spaced out in another land.

"You want her to be mine?" Eric asked her.

"You would be a perfect dad. I would rather her be yours than Mason's but I would rather her be Maverick's than anybody. He actually acts like this is what he wants", Cari admitted.

"He's cheating on you Car", Eric informed Cari.

"How would you know anything Eric? People barely know you", Cari said getting snappy. She was getting irritated too, she felt like Eric was all negative energy.

"I could just tell", Eric told her.

"Take me home please", Cari said calmly.

Eric wasn't going to beg Cari to stay so he took her and Majesty back home.

"I'll let you know when the results come in", Eric told Cari.

"How about this, if she's yours just text me. If she's not don't hit me up again. Deal?" Cari said.

Eric didn't answer the question but he processed it in his head. When she got out the car she had to carry the carseat alone and take it in the house. She looked around and there was no sign of Maverick.
