I opened my eyes slowly confused and disconnected. My mind was rapidly throwing questions at me, 'what happened last night?' 'where was I?' 'who took me?' 'why are you so stupid?'. I tried to lift my eyes a little more, it looked like I was in a girl's bedroom. There was an empty mattress on the floor. The warm duvet covers surrounded me making me feel at ease and cosy.

A sound of soft footsteps made me fall back into reality and wake up fully. I jolted my body up quickly sitting up and staring at the footsteps coming closer. It felt like forever but finally a gorgeous girl with long brown locks and turquoise eyes appeared into the light. It was the familiar beautiful face which made me feel as if I was on cloud 9. Savannah. She was carrying a tray with some bakery on and a cup of orange juice and tea. She looked so stunning with her cute little shy smile, dressed in her adorable over sized t shirt and basketball shorts. Ok, I admit it, Savannah was beautiful and I couldn't deny it.

"Hey, sleepy head." She said smiling. Then it hit me I had been sleeping in Savannah Graye's   bed. What the hell.

"Uh-Uh hi... What happened last night?" I questioned confused and panicky.

"Well after we had left and I got home I realised I left my bag so I went to go back to get it. Then, then I saw you. You were just like passed out and half hanging off the pier edge. Obviously I couldn't just leave you there. So I got my car and came back to pick you up. Your face was bright red Daisy, and, and your back had little pieces of glass in it." I was stunned she did so much for me and I felt so guilty. She came over and sat on the bed next to me. I put my face in my hands embarrassed of how much of a mess I must have looked in. I think she could tell what I was thinking.

"Thanks, thank you so much. Honestly I don't know how I will ever repay you." I look down.

"It's fine. It's what friends do. Do you want to tell me who did that to you? Coz I swear..." She replied. I smiled her calling me her friends but it didn't feel right.

I cut in. "Sav, it's ok. I'm ok. It was...nothing. Honestly." I said.

"No Daisy! It's not ok. You were hurt and I could tell you had been crying. It made me feel so upset to see you like that and." I held her hand while she was beginning to tear up. I never realised how painful it was to Savannah that I had been hurt but it actually warmed my heart her caring for me. If someone did that to her I would feel the same.

"I'm sorry. I'm fine now, arn't I? I will tell you another time." I wiped away a tear and she hugged me.

"I'm sorry, I just. I just don't ever want to see someone hurt you."

"I understand. I would never want anyone to hurt you either." I whispered and I squeezed her tighter. I handed her and I the juice and I took a sip, it was so fresh and cool. We sat in silence for a while but it was comfortable and being with Savannah didn't need words.

I interrupted the silence by asking. "Would, would you like to go out some time. Like as me to thank you?" I asked shaking.

"I would love to! But you don't need thank me; but that won't stop me from going with you." She gave me a wink and a nudge. I smiled back. We both took sips from our tea and ate our croissants while talking about well anything.

"I will need to thank your parents, I'm so sorry that you had to find me like that. Truly I am." I sniffed.

"They will probably be out but I can make sure to thank them. To be honest they probably don't even know your here." She spoke. I blushed and my eyes widened. "It's ok! They won't care or notice." She said to relax me.

"Oh, ok. Thank you then for just well everything." I said.

"If you want a shower you can, to um wash your back. It looked like it had a few cuts." Savannah stuttered. My face went bright pink as I realised I was wearing a different top, Savannah must have changed my top for me and my jeans as they were soaking wet. I blushed even more thinking about her having to change me like I was a baby. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't just leave you in your wet uncomfortable clothes." She said shyly blushing a little.

"It's ok. Thank you, sorry you had to-to do that." I replied stuttering shyly also. She walked out the room to get a towel. I checked under my clothing, my bra and underpants were still on. I sighed feeling very embarrassed. Obviously she would leave them on, stupid I thought to myself. She came back in and threw it at my face and giggled. I laughed to pulling it off creating my hair to become even more messy.

"Awww, your hair looks all cute like that, messy style." She grinned. I smirked too and couldn't take my eyes of her eyes. They were so easy to draw mine in. I shaked my head and threw the towel back at her making her laugh.

"So, where would you like to go your majesty?" I gestured.

"Hmmm. Anywhere with you." She smiled playing the role I gave her.

"Not an acceptable answer, you have to choose!" I stubbingly forced.

"Ok, I'm happy with anything. But what about a picnic to somewhere abandoned? I love to explore." Savannah suggested.

"Sounds perfect. Do you want to go today. I think I know just the perfect place." She always made me feel happy.

"I think yes. I would love to." We both laughed and smiled at one another.

Savannah's smile was all I needed to make me feel like there was nothing in this world apart from her and I.
