Chapter 4 | Sebastian

Seeing that smile on my mermaids face was the best fact of all. I love her, and there are no words to describe how happy I am for her to marry me.  She was amazing. "Fish, I'll be back! I am gonna go and talk to Joseph!" She kissed me one last time then ran off and I laughed as she attacked Joseph.

"Congrats, lad!" I turned and smiled at Nick letting out a laugh.

"You are turning into Liz on the whole language." Nick laughed and sent her a glance. "You sure it is fine that I marry Liz, Nick? I will not loose a friend despite how much I love her. We would rather have you in our life than not at all," I say before shaking my head, "I am turning into Liz a bit too."

Nick laughed and glanced at Liz, love clear in his eyes. "If it is you, Sebastian, we don't mind," he murmured some other deal but I did not hear it. Suddenly I was falling forward and I caught myself grabbing the person and hearing a laugh as beautiful as an angels harpoon, as I held them down. Soon I was looking down into Liz's eyes and and chuckled at her. "You are a danger hazard," she just winked kissing me before spinning around and jumping up hugging Nick.

Yeah, I would not want Nick out of the picture.

Elizabelle's Point of View

I giggle as Ry and Mickie argued over who should take me home and skipped up to Sebastian giving him a kiss which he happily returned. "See you later, mio piccolo Mermaid," he kissed me one last time before Jimmy pulled him away. 

"Alright, enough PDA for a day," he said in a false stern voice and I laughed despite the slight pain. "See you later, El." 

"See you later, Jimmy Neutron," he rolled his  eyes but gave me a kiss before walking away. I saw Ry and Mickie were still arguing so I skipped up to the Cullen's who were staring at me. "Hey, guys!" 

Bella rolled her eyes at me and Rose smiled gently. "Hey, Elizabelle. Congrats on your engagement," I smiled turning and glancing as Sebastian got into his car. I gave him a wave before turning back to Rose. 

"Thanks, Rose!" She smiled nodding before she and the girls headed off. 

"How long have you been with him?" Emmett asks and I looked at him for a second. 

"Uh . . . since I was young," I say hesitating. Emmett nodded and gave me a hug. 

"See you later, Elizabelle," he got in his jeep and waiting for the other's to say goodbye to me. 

"Bye, El," Jasper whispered walking away and I watched him. Carlisle was next and again I watched for a second before giving Edward a hug.  "Bye, Elizabelle," he walked off and I watched as they got into the jeep before driving away. 

"Hey, angel," I turned and saw Tobias. I held a hand to my mouth looking at him. 

"Tobias?" He nodded and I fell down letting out cries. "You came back, you came back," I say repeating it over as he hugged me close. 

"Had I not promised to do so, Petit ange?" I just sniffed holding him tightly.
"I missed you, I . . ." He shushed me silently and held me as I cried. After awhile I woke up, but could not move. I remember feeling something cold in my hands and the next second it was gone just as the door opened. 

After awhile I woke up to see Charlie sleeping in a chair and I frowned. "Daddy Swan?" He stayed still so I walked up shaking him, only it felt weird. "Charlie?" 

"Giggles, please wake up," I turned and saw Jasper. 
 
"Jasper, I am awake, Jassie!" He cried quietly into my chest and Charlie moved.  "I'm sorry, son," he told Jasper. 

Jasper just looked up nodding. "I. . .I have to go, Chief, please keep me updated," Daddy Swan nodded and Jasper disappeared. 

I wiped my tears away and felt a hand on my shoulder making me turn quickly. Mickie smiled at me gently and offered me his arm. I smiled taking his arm and we went in getting in the car. Guess they remembered they drove the same car. 

I walked into the house going upstairs and stretching before changing then staring to paint. A while later a knock sounded at my door and I opened it to see a shirtless Ryder and he smiled at me tiredly. "C'mon, love. It's time for bed," I nodded and he waited for me to clean up before we went to his room where he laid down and I laid against him. I absently began to trace his abs making random patterns, when suddenly his hand was on mine and I was underneath him. 

"What's on your mind?" I could tell by the sound of his voice he had been awake for awhile and I traced under his eye with my free hand. I traced his cheek to his jaw before over his lips trailing up to his hair and pulling myself up to hug him. He hugged me back while still supporting himself up.

"Ry, do you think I made a mistake?" I knew it wasn't specific, and honestly I was not sure myself on what I meant. 

"Marrying Sebastian? No. Hiding behind a mask? I suppose just a bit. Becoming my friend? Not you, but I know I have. The Cullen's?" At that he stayed silent and I was glad he did, yet also wished he had continued. 

"Li, if I may ask, if you could choose between Sebastian and I, would you still choose him? -- dating wise, not friend wise. I won't get hurt," I turned us around and peered down at him as I straddled his lap. 

Again, I traced his jaw and looked in his eyes. I looked into his eyes, and that night that question was not answered.
