Chapter 11 | Future

There was a part of her that yearned to save herself. The part that had one day, vowed to never be dragged down again.  Another, that was reaching to get saved whereas also fighting the same savior -- maybe dying is the best part to do. No one deals with me then, were her thoughts leading to this. Then, the part that let that sentence win. The part letting Death pull her into its depths.

Because sometimes, sometimes just isn't enough, nor is letting yourself think that you have it all handled; that you don't need anyone. Sometimes, you need to let go -- -- but let go just enough to let someone help you.

Were she to have let someone in, someone help and know, then maybe she would not be here.

All she wanted to do, was let go. She wanted to let go, but she instead just held on.

See, Destiny has a funny way of playing out. Her Destiny, her destiny seemed to get be complete. So she was saved. Maybe that wasn't the greatest part to happen.

I screamed trying to call to help, reaching up. Though the thing is, I don't think that anyone will come to help me.  Nor should they.

I pushed everybody away. I pushed them away, and now I'm going to die. I looked up, seeing a smirking face, and I decided now was the moment. Now was the moment that I let go.

I pulled out a gun, swimming to the surface. Numbness, the feeling I felt accustomed to, spread through me. I heard shots being fired, arms wrapped around my legs as I shot out -- now that you have given up, nothing is pulling you back, so I want you.

I pulled the man with me, as bullets fired, blood clouding the surface. I choked in the water, as the man struggled. Water came, and through the pain in the throat and body, I spoke. "If I'm dying,  then I will let you go. I'm done with everything," I whisper letting him go like I have everything.

The man got out of the surface, people staring in shock as the girl seemsd to n pulled down to the bottom of the pool. They stared in horror, as people came out beginning to sob.

"No," a male whispered, "no!" With that, the man no longer saw light. Why? Because his light was gone; the beautiful girl that held his heart was now somewhere in the water. Someone could be raping her right now, and she will never know because how could she? She never chose him, nor any of the others.  Especially the one everyone thought she would.

He didn't know which was better, that she chose neither of her close friends nor Cullen's, or that she was gone. Both cases were bad, horrible.
