dallon came home the next day. even though the doctor said he needed to rest, brendon still came over to stay with him.
dallon was excited to see brendon. he hadn't seen him since before the game.
"hey, dal. how are you?"
"drugged up." brendon laughs softly.
dallon picks up his blanket. "come cuddle."
brendon slides under the blanket next to him. brendon cuddles into dallon's side.
"i love you." dallon whispers.
"i love you too." brendon whispers in return.
