Chapter Two

I left Liam at our lockers and followed the new girl into her classroom, which wasn't my next class. She has World History while I have Math down the hall. And of course, everyone noticed me walking into the classroom. I may be a moster's son, but I'm a nobody at school. Just they scary guy no one messes with.

Once my foot stepped inside the room, all eyes were on me. I stopped and just looked over the room. Perrie had made her way to the far side of the room surrounded by jocks. She took the seat right up front and acted like she didn't even notice the boys drooling and asking for her number.

I walked over to the teachers desk, hearing snickers and rude comments about myself being in the class.

He's not even suppose to be in this class

I don't understand why he's so angry all the time

He's a creepy douche

It's like he hates the world

I heard, his dad is a contract killer

The last comment made me smirk. I leaded over the girl's desk in the front who whispered that to the girls around her. I looked deep in her eyes, letting her get a taste of the blackness inside of me.

"Almost.." I mumbled as she looked at me with total fear. I stepped back and evilly smirk to her friends which made them tense.

I continued to the teachers desk and stood there waiting for him to finish scribbling on paper.

He finally looked. Once his eyes met mine, he jumped a little out of his chair. Some of the teachers gamble and have gotten in debt with my dad. Mr. James is a scrawny man who doesn't know when to stop gambling, so he's in pretty deep with my dad. Ever since my brother and I had went on a call to get him for my dad one night... Let's just say he hasn't gotten over the missing pinkie.

"C-can I help you Mr. Malik?" He mumbled. I put my palm on the desk and leaned over him.

"I'll be sitting in this period."

"But this is last period, and you'll be very behind---" I cut him off with the killing Malik Family Stare. He slid down in his seat like he was trying to get away from it. He just nodded and I took the seat in the back, but on the opposite side of the room as Perrie. I could see her perfectly.

That's when I noticed the Nikon around her neck. She wasn't just new, she's a techie. Liam and I call the kids who actually like the stupid activities this school has to offer. And she's in photography.

My brother once brought work to school grounds and was caught on camera by a techie. Billy hasn't been seen since. It was actually kinda fun ditching him in the Hudson.

I keep my sight set on Perrie as Mr. James spoke. She isn't listening to him either. She's too busy flipping through the images on her camera. Some of the pictures muster up a small smile on her face as some make her turn the camera to different angles trying to take in all the details. I let a small trace of a small spread to my lips when a picture makes her laugh. Some of the class stops listening to stare at her. Her cheeks get a light shade of pink, which makes her look hotter.

Her cheeks stay pink as she faces the last person who's been staring at her for awhile. When I look into her deep blue eyes, it's almost mesmerizing... Almost. Perrie smiles shyly at me, and I nod in response.

Since she has about 6 guys around her, watching her every move, I wasn't surprised when Brett Estep looks back at me and mouths, Back off. I just smirk at him evilly. He keeps a threatening stare as he turns back around slowly, which just makes me laugh.

No one like him could scare me. No one who hasn't seen the dark things that go on in the sketchy parts of town. No one, unless you're my father.
