I walk through the front door of Jordan's house, feeling super awkward. I clutch my bag in my sweaty hands and start waking down the hall before it opens up onto the living room. I stand nervously in front of one of the couches. "Well sit down" Jordan says in a friendly voice. I sit and immediately sink into the soft cushions. His face drops and the smirk he previously wore disappears. "What do you mean you're not staying? You going back home?"
I clear my throat nervously. "Yep." I lie.
"You're lying." He snaps at me, smirking again. "You're not going back home you're going to go back out on the streets! Well I'm not going to let you! Anything could happen while you're out there!"
"Why do you care?" I ask, genuinely curious. "We only just met!"
"I don't care. I'm worried about you. Now tell me what happened."
I give in and decide to just tell him everything. Here goes...
