The girls were spread out across the sofa, stuffing their faces with every comfort food you could possibly think of. Emily poured more wine into Ella's glass and tried to do a funny robot dance. She was clearly already out of her face and she's only had two drinks. Ella enjoyed the person Emily was though, even the weird drunk version.

As she continued to watch her, Ella laughed "Jesus Emily you need to calm down on the drinks". Emily looked at her and holded up a DVD case, screaming excitedly, pointing at Jamie's face "This guy gave me his number!" She said in a loud, over the top voice.

Ella laughed and put her lips around the tip of the wine glass "So, you going see him again? Don't go jumping on top of him though, he's in the middle of a hasty divorce and custody battle" replied Ella as she looked at her drunk and already lovestruck sister. But Emily raised her eyebrows "I won't be like some female version of Mr Grey... well not until I've got to know him more" she giggled as her cheeks turned to a crimson colour.

Ella shot her quirky sister a look that a mother would give when your a toddler having a tantrum. She knew that she couldn't exactly tell Emily how to behave but she had to say something "just don't dive in too deep, I don't want you to get hurt" she assured, placing a hand on her hand. Emily rolled her eyes "please, I'm just going to enjoy myself and see where it goes" she replied, grinning to herself. Ella laughed, knowing that Emily really had got it bad. None of them had any idea that this would happen.

Ella moved a few bowls of food across the table in front of them, without realising, Emily grabbed Ella's phone and started strolling through the contacts, she stopped at 'Jared Leto' and smirked. Ella tried to grab her phone "so Ella how's Leto doing? I haven't been seeing much of him recently, why don't you ask him round for a drink and see what happens" Emily gave her a wink. She grabbed her phone and started clearing the empty glasses, leaving space for new ones "he's fine... he's just busy, you know what Jared's like, I think he's going out tonight because he was looking smart in all of his Gucci gear" she replied, whilst walking into and trying to bring the kitchen back to life by removing all the empty wine bottles, previously downed by mostly Emily.

Emily silpped a few crisps into her mouth while lying across the sofa "so does that bother you at all?" She said, after a few minutes of silence. Ella gulped some more wine and sat down, looking defensive "no, why would it effect me? Yeah he's a good friend but it's his life" she said loudly, just so she could get the point across. Emily smiled and held her hands up "hey, don't shoot me I'm just saying, what if he's trying to impress a girl" she said, while checking her phone for texts. Ella laughed "just call Jamie you know you want too, arrange a date with him" she giggled and scanned across at Emily as she walked out of the living room and sat outside in the balcony. Emily bit her lip and scrolled to Jamie's name, her thumbs viciously typed. Jamie Dornan was certainly starting to grow on her.

Meanwhile, Ella was sat and looking up in the sky, she felt so bothered by Emily's comment 'what if he's trying to impress a girl'. It really bugged the hell out of Ella, she turned to the side and started to think. Why did she feel a special connection to Jared? He's just a good friend, just a good friend, a good friend, Ella kept telling yourself. She drank her wine and then sighed as she began to have a little cry. She was fully alone with her thoughts...

Twenty minutes later

Ellie Goulding music was blasted in Emily's huge bedroom as she was throwing her clothes out of the wardrobe and sorting through which ones she liked best. Jamie had asked to take her out for meal, not a date but a formal meal with a friend. But Emily was already starting to see him in a new light.

Ella walked in and sat on Emily's bed observing her strange behaviour, laughing "so I'm guessing Mr Grey has agreed to take you out on a date, just be careful will you" she whispered as she put her dressing gown on. Emily giggled and looked at herself in the mirror, mumbling words from the song 'burn'.
Ella decided that it was best to get into bed, she didn't want Jared getting ticked off by her if she was late in the morning. She went over and layed into her pillow, trying to block out thoughts about Jared. However she was soon too distracted to sleep, her mind was in overdrive. She was someone who suffered with a a lot of anxiety.

However, as she was deep in thought about Jared... her gorgeous and kind Jared. In her mind he was hers but in reality he wasn't, yes he was her boss and loyal best friend but this sucked. Ella wanted more, however much she tried to deny it. She sat up and grabbed a tissue, wiping her sore red eyes, trying to not to cry even more.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Emily was giggling on the phone with Jamie and trying on numberous outfits, he had agreed on a date but Emily was finding it rather tricky finding a outfit for tomorrow. She sighed, tapping on her iPod she blasted songs like there was no tomorrow.

Emily sat on the bed "seriously though I can't believe I met you tonight, it was good" she said excitingly. Jamie laughs "it was nice meeting you too, I just don't want you getting your hopes up" he explained, as he breathed deeply. Emily rolled her eyes and sighed "honestly talk about flattery, I'm fine okay? I'm glad we are friends" she lied, as she started to put clothes back in the wardrobe. Jamie smiled "good, see you tomorrow" he said before he ended the call.

However, Emily began looking at herself in the mirror 'is it me?' She thought 'I am too overbearing?' She thought again. Lying herself back on the bed she began to feel very defeated, she was beginning to really like this man but he had no intents to date her. She knew that she only just met him but there was certainly a spark between them.

She also knew that on their date tomorrow she would have to go big or go home, generally speaking. She wasn't going to give up. After all, what they had, was a true connection...
