When Love Takes Over. (Chapters 9 - 20 in Development!)

CHAPTER TWENTY NIGHT

The rain was pouring down and the wind was rustling wildly. It felt like it was winter it was that freezing, even though they were only in the middle of summer. Jamie and Emily shoved themselves in the car. They looked out the window, laughing at one another. Their plan had backfired but their spirits were still high. They wanted to go for a stroll and then go out for some food but the weather clearly wasn't on their side.

Emily's clothes were drenched so she was certainly feeling cold. She tried to wrap herself up more with her coat as Jamie started the car's engine, he then took his jacket off and wrapped it around her shoulders.  They both locked eyes for a few seconds, grinning. She grabbed at his jacket "thank you, aren't you a real gentlemen" she said sweetly, in between shivering. He rubbed her cheek with his thumb "well we can't have you freezing to death" he joked, giving her a quick kiss as he moved his hands to the steering wheel. He kept his eyes on the road "we could just go back?" Jamie asked, he just didn't see the point of them getting soaked even more.

Emily moved back into her seat, sighing "yeah let's head back but it's a real shame how we couldn't continue our little night" she commented, giggling, looking over to him "well we'll just have to go back to the cottage and warm up" he suggested. watching the clouds in the sky, as they were peering out the windows. It was nearly the end of their romantic getaway and they had loved every second.

They both sat in slience for a few minutes, Jamie turned up the heat in the car. She could tell that he kept looking at her in the car mirror to see if she was doing okay. Emily covered her mouth as she yawned "I think all of these crazy nights have caught up with me" she said, smiling. They had been doing all sorts and made some great memories. But her favourite part was getting to spend time with Jamie's family, it made her feel so special that they welcomed her into their family.

Jamie glanced over and laughed "yeah it's been great, we need to come back here soon" he added, turning the wheel.

Twenty Minutes Later

The cottage had the fire on full blast and Emily attended upstairs, she turned the shower on. She couldn't wait to feel warm and cosy in her fluffy pyjamas! There was no chance that she was wearing a nightgown tonight.

Jamie was upstairs, seeing what his wife was up too, he walked across the hallway. As Emily collected her towel and put it in the bathroom, without paying attention to anything. She turned and fell into Jamie. He put his arms around hers "I've got a good idea" he said, in a lustful tone. She moved his hands around his shirt "what's that?" She asked, trying to pretend that she didn't know what he was talking about. He smirked without saying anything as he slowly motioned her into the shower itself. They both kissed, feeling the water hitting them. She opened up his shirt and took it off, smiling at the view.

Emily giggled as he helped her unzip her dress. He moved her hair to the side and kissed her back. She turned and pushed him against the wall, kissing him before she stopped "what about food?" She asked, smiling. He kissed her "I'll just order you Mcdonalds if you want?" He said quickly so he could continue kissing her. Emily pulled away, grinning "yeah you can do that now actually" she teased, backing away. Jamie smirked "I'll do it after this" he replied, pulling her back onto his chest. She let go again "you need to listen to your wife" she commented, laughing. He grinned at her as he turned the shower off, standing in wet clothes. With Jamie looking like that, in Emily's mind she wanted to do multiple things with him. But first she needed food. 

Jamie laughed "fine, enjoy having a shower on your own" he joked, leaving the bathroom. Emily took a deep breath, looking at herself in the mirror. She thought about what just happened and turned the shower back on, daydreaming.

Jared went out on the porch as Ella was getting out of the cab. She was getting her bags out but then he came over and was taking them off her "You shouldn't be doing that in your condition" he advised, carrying them into the hallway of the house. Ella laughed "I know" she whispered. She thought it was sweet how he was really caring towards her but he had an habit of saying that sentence.
