CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

It was early in the morning. Emily was in her dressing room applying her lipstick, as she was looking in the mirror she saw Jamie heading over to her. Last night wasn't exactly a good night, she was still furious with him. She wanted him to have fun but he got in such a state that he ruined the night. She put her lipstick back in her bag and glared at him "if you are coming to apologize then don't bother" she snapped as she frowned at him, turning away. Jamie looked disheartened as he smoothly grabbed her hand "I don't want us to fight, I'm so sorry about last night" he said, looking at her. She shook her head, feeling embrassed about what he did "I can forgive you in time but right now I need to go, Ellas expecting me" she replied, letting go of his hand and turning her body away from him. She walked straight past him but then he followed her to the living room and put his hands on her shoulders "I feel bad that I ruined your birthday night" he said, softly. He moved in to kiss her as she turned away. He looked at her in annoyance "what?" He said, as he shrugged his shoulders. Emily sighed as she searched in drawers for her phone "I wanted you to have a good night but you went and told Jared about what was kept between us" she stated, angrily as she collected her handbag and finally found her phone. Jamie looked bad "Men share these things but you're right I shouldn't have said that, I'm sorry" he said, as he passed her jacket and moved in closer towards her. She smiled and kissed him. Part of her was still mad with him, she couldn't help but fall in love with him more when hes around. Jamie kind of knew now that he was out of the doghouse and that he should make it up to Emily for ruining her birthday night.

Ella walked in the front room, dressed and ready for the day. She glanced around and then saw Jared still asleep on the couch, she smiled to herself as she went into the kitchen. She started to make herself a cup of coffee, she rarely did this because of the baby but she needed to wake herself up. She got out her phone and texted Emily, as she poured milk in her drink.

Jared wobbled into the kitchen and smiled when he saw Ella. Slowly he pulled her close and they shared a kiss "have you had any breakfast?" He asked, putting his arms around her. She looked pale and then gave him a smile "no I can't face food right now" she said quickly, as she let go of him to drink more of her drink. He stayed looking at her "are you okay?" He asked, placing his hands around hers. She nodded and smiled "I will be.. I'm going shopping with Emily, she should be here any minute" she explained as she put her cup down and got her bag ready. He looked into her eyes for a few seconds and smiled "what are you getting?" He replied, putting his hand through his hair. She turned round to face him "probably some new clothes for me and then loads of baby things" she said. He looked at her and then came in again a few minutes later, placing his credit card in her handbag "use my card" he said, kissing her. She pulled away and then laughed "I don't want your money" she said shaking her head and attempting to give it back. He put it back in her purse and give her the bag "its our baby" he said sweetly. They kissed as a car horn beeped outside. Ella grinned "good luck tonight at the show, I won't be back too late so hopefully I'll see you before you go" she said, smiling her man. He kissed her again "I love you" he whispered in her ear. She smiled and grabbed her things as she dashed out the door.

They had been driving for half an hour, the traffic was crazy. Emily turned the radio on and let out a sigh "well I hope we get there soon" she groaned as she looked at Ella. She noticed that she looked really pale "you look really pale, are you okay?" She asked, turning the music down and feeling concerned. Ella put her hand on her chest and closed her eyes for a second and then smiled at her "being in the car makes me feel ill" she said. Emily studied her "well then you aren't okay are you?" She asked, feeling worried. Ella nodded "I'm honestly fine" she said. Emily put her head in her hands and moved the steering wheel "but you don't know that do you?" She said, looking around at the cars and out of the window. She sighed "so whats up with you and Jamie then?" She asked, trying to change the conversation. Emily looked back at her and went bright red "he told Jared about what we did in the back of the room" she said, trying to hide herself. Ella smirked, knowing that it was something bad "what did you do?" She asked, trying not to laugh. Emily looked down "we did it in this car" she said slowly, feeling herself go hot. Ella gasped "oh my god" she shouted as she laughed. Emily stopped the car at a red light and laughed "I was tipsy and he looked gorgeous" she stated, as a matter of fact. She held her hands up laughing. Ella stook her head "thats your excuse?" She said. Emily faced her "yes" she said, as she moved the stick and the steering wheel again.
Ella was looking at her sister and couldn't believe the sort of antics she gets up too, a part of her was impressed.
