CHAPTER THIRTY

Jamie and Emily had only been back for a couple of days and they were busy with photoshoots and interviews. What with them recently getting married, the media were interested to dive deep into their personal lives. It had been an eventful mini break but they both enjoyed the time that they have spent together. Especially Jamie because of his family. Not to mention how iconic it was that they were both talking about having kids just after they got married but then ended up actually have to find out whether Emily was pregnant or not.

The makeup artist was doing the finishing touches to Emily's makeup. She just wanted to get this over with and see Ella. At the other side of the room they were setting up lights and cameras at different angles.

Emily got up and looked at herself in the mirror, she felt like a model. Jamie came over and greeted her with a warm smile "are you ready, Mrs Dornan" he asked, admiring her. She rolled her eyes "of course I am" she giggled, starting to walk with him to the camera crew.

An hour later

Several outfit changes later and the crew were finally packing up their equipment. Jamie was chatting away to them whereas Emily was trying to make good use out of her painted face with taking selfies. Jamie spotted and kissed her cheek "I told you it wouldn't take long" he commented. Emily stroked his face "I know, it's been mad since we got back.. I'm just desperate to see Ella" she added, moving in for a kiss. He kissed her and stared into her eyes, Emily grinned "what's up?" she asked. Jamie sighed quietly "can't I look at my gorgeous wife?" he joked sweetly. Emily laughed "stop, I'm not Gigi Hadid!" she replied, laughing louder. Jamie laughed "no you're way more attractive than her" he added, kissing her.

Emily loved how cheesy he could be sometimes. It was one of the hundred things that she loved deeply about him. After a few seconds she pulled away, "I need to make sure that everything is ready for the baby shower" she gasped. Today was Ella's surprise baby shower, her sister was adamant on not wanting fuss but Emily couldn't not do anything special for her.

The crew picked up everything said there goodbyes. Jamie turned back to Emily "I'm sure that it will all go according to plan" he assured her. She looked annoyed "it best do because Ella deserves this, it's her first baby with the man she loves" she explained, talking at Jamie. He held her hands "Maybe we could be next? You know, to have a baby" he said slowly, looking hopeful. Emily looked to the floor as he stroked her hands, waiting for an answer.

It was something that Emily wasn't shutting the door on but she was growing tried of talking about the same thing. She looked back up at him "we can't keep talking about this" she said, letting go of his hands. He rubbed his face "why can't we? It's something we both want" he stated. She walked away, starting to collect her bag and jacket "Jamie, we are both young, healthy and happy people who have many years ahead of them to have a family.. if it happens, then it happens" she said, putting her jacket on. Jamie nodded and smiled "you're right, I'm sorry" he said, Emily came over and kissed him "don't be" she replied, smiling.

After a few moments of gazing at one another. Emily gasped "I need to hurry getting things done, Ella will be waiting for me" she said, pulling her phone out of her pocket to check on the time. Jamie smirked and kissed her "you do what you need to do" he replied. Leaving her to her own devices. Emily was already excited for today.

Ella was fixed on her outfit as she stood in the mirror, rubbing creases out of her skirt. She smiled, thinking about seeing Emily today. Momentraily Jared emerged in the lounge area, completely topless. He was making the most of the hot weather by being in the swimming pool. Ella had a quick look at him before going by to worrying over her choice of outfit.
